Can I suggest maybe an old fashioned rubber water bottle in place of the hot hands? You purchase it one time and you can go into any gas station, convenience store etc and I’ve not yet seen one charge for hot water provided you have your own container. Fill up that water bottle with the hot water from the coffee machines at the shop of your choosing and use it to warm your sleeping bag etc.

I'm not sure if I missed it, but get yourself a thinner sleeping bag and place it inside your sub z bag. This will make a fantastic difference. My temperatures reach -25 to -40 Farenhight, and so I also place extra blankets on both sides of me rolled up, keep cold air flow off you. I actually remove my socks before bed and leave them and a spare pullover in my sleeping bag. Everything else you mentioned I do and are key to staying warm. Great video, new sub. 👋😁🇨🇦

If you have a stove idk if they sell them in the US but a hot water bottle would be cheaper and more environmentally friendly than the hot hands.

Did you remove your back seats to get started?, or do you just fold your back seats down?
@c0ffeeb3ans20 күн бұрын
@@Pond6 Right now they are just folded down . I do plan on possibly getting them removed in the future though
