Ian, drug dealers do kill people, unintentionally, but it happens. One of my daughter's friends died last year from recreational cocaine use. It was laced with fentanyl. The kid only used cocaine about 4 times a year.
@shaneculkin7124
@shaneculkin7124 Жыл бұрын
Roxanne, respectfully I must disagree. And I am very, very glad you mentioned the fentanyl. It remains BECAUSE drugs are illegal that drugs are able to be processed/made, packaged, and distributed by who knows!!?!! Possibly by evil people. And definitely by people who do-not-care. PLEASE tell me you are not for more laws. This is a large problem with the Democrats (and I know Republicans are responsible for the dumb War On Drugs). Much like Gun Control, criminals don't obey laws, --- so pass all the laws you want. *Forgive me for bringing politics into this but it feels relevant.

It's insane how people's lives are played with like they mean nothing. I was ready to go home based on the deal made between my lawyer and the judge. I had done my program plus an extra 2 months waiting for an opening, just to go to court on a Friday and be told by the judge "i don't like releasing people on Fridays. They're more likely to offend" only to spend another week, and be released on a Thursday. K

Dude. I did 18 months, and it was fkin terrible experiencing the lack of any control over the situation . Any real man will tell you it's not the place to be and it's time you can't get back. I absolutely cannot imagine two decades. That shit breaks my heart for all those caged because of money. Literally . Because that's ultimately what it's about. Money. His comment about it feeling like a rich white den in court , that's because it is. The judicial system is a business not justice. Think about it. Bond ... Money.... Court costs.... money.. an inmate incarcerated... state makes money every day your there. License for atty to "do business".. Atty fees ... Money , etc All about money. It's a business and he's right there is no compassion. My prayers go out to those locked up . May God be with them and strengthen them

It’s a two tiered justice system as well. If you are rich, you can hire high powered attorneys and bond out. If you’re politically connected or are in state govt or federal govt, you pretty much get a free pass so long as your crimes aren’t blatant… unless you’re hillary Clinton, the. You can have a whole case laid out on national TV and have the FBI director say that there was no intent so there’s no crime., and get off scot-free. The rest of us who don’t have tens of millions of dollars or aren’t connected to people in high places politically, we go through another tier of justice where the outcomes aren’t as good.

The scientist could of said ty to his old rich partner. Yes becoming a man or learning to fight is a thing AND SURVIVING but we all gotta learn that. Even if it's fighting cancer, fighting tyranny or fighting family paper theft. People die n getting rpd in and out, sold & items. Father sun loves you hold your hands up to him and ask him for help. Close the door on lies, theft, force, stupidity and loneliness. Truth, giving, feeding, study, service. #100. Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy. You have not because you ask not. Ask the sun. Love the sun. Thank the sun. Honor father suns creations. Seek to learn about all sciences and techniques. Nutrition &,exercise, law & nature. God! Provide! Protect! Prosper! Heal! Love! As we get older and more mature, we begin to understand, a little at a time, why it is important to move forward. @@chopper1168 I think people feel pressured to make a decision, or they will follow the group and go along with what the majority says. This may be done because the people don’t want to ruffle feathers and go against the grain or it may be done because they don’t want to be there. Instead of everybody going into a room and deciding, maybe have people write down anonymously what their verdict is, cast their “vote”, and then find out what the decision is. Somebody’s life hangs in the balance and it would really be shitty to be sent to prison because people followed the group or just cast their decision with the majority so that they can go home. It’s not like their deciding what to eat or what show to watch, but whether or not a person is going to be sentenced to something that may affect the rest of their lives and their family’s lives forever. Again, what you did is honorable and I hope more people do what you do when serving on a jury.

I also served 19 years in federal prison. In 2020 I filed a compassionate release. I won and an order was issued to release me within 10 days. I was to be home by my birthday January 16. We were on covid lock down at the time so we only got the phone once a week. I couldn't sleep counting down the days. On my birthday I didn't understand why I was still there, I'm at the door asking whats going on. When I called my mother that day she was crying, telling me the prosecutor appealed because of a knife case I caught at usp Florence that added time to my sentence but was never brought up in my compassionate release. The government won their appeal, but I was still released to halfway house on July 31st 2021 after sitting another 7 months.

I’ve watched almost all of Chads interviews and this one is my favourite one. Ian has skills as a journalist he got a lot more out of chad then any other video I’ve seen. I’m a huge fan of blood on the razor wire tv. Respect Chad for giving us more on your life story and thanks Ian for doing what u do!

I can absolutely understand letting go of the anger behind the person that tripped you up. But I honestly couldn’t ever have a conversation with that person after the fact either tho!!.. You go your way and I’ll go mine. But we wouldn’t ever speak after something like that. I just couldn’t do that much!!.. 🤷🏻‍♂️ But yo, shout-out Chad tho!! He a solid man!! 🙏🏼🫡

Big Smalls was not rapping about blowing up the World Trade Center. It was a metaphor about how he was blowing up in regards to money and fame or even in the drug game.

It was still a metaphor in reference to the 1993 bombing of the world trade center.. so he did in fact rap about the bombing of world trade center lol. Also Biggie wasn't in the drug game he was a storyteller

A short time? There's no such thing, hell 5 hours riding the bench in booking is even too GD long. Not to mention in his case, he didnt grow up going to juvie & all that shit he got caught up as a very young adult & went straight to the Federal system- doesnt matter that he didnt go to a USP, being locked up is being locked up regardless where it is or for how long. It all sucks, its all bad. Hell catching a case & being out on bail the majority of the time till court sucks. Hell there are ppl that have done longer stretches in high security places like Chad that go on to do the types of work he does & there's people on the completely opposite end of the spectrum who havnt ever even been arrested before (and all areas inbetween) that work with prison reform groups, again that do paralegal work, help with reentry type programs etc etc
