I personally don’t. I use a gel top coat to seal it in.

Do you activate and top coat both top and bottom? Or leave bottom alone or just activate?

If I swatch on both sides, I’ll activate on both sides. But I will only top coat the top of the swatch.

Not always, if the colors are similar in shade or don’t leave residue/powder in the cupcake liner, I’ll re-use it for the next color.

I think you’re scamming people by swatching in both sides of the nail when you can’t do that to the natural nail. It’s not accurate and changes what the final expected result Will be resulting in more unhappy customers and more complaints for you. But do what you want

I don’t sell anything - so these I mainly for myself and my own reference. I do like the underside being swatched because I leave it matte - so I can see what my colors look matte versus glossy (I make the top side glossy). Since the swatch is clear - it looks the same as it would if I did two layers on top. I just do one under to reduce bulk on top of the swatch.
