Hello, i love your ivy! I have had problems with ivy in the past and no one seems to talk about them much.... mine tend to dry out and leaves start to fall off. I am very carefull with not overwatering. And i dont really fertilizer much. The lighting in my home is not too much or too little. So i dont seem to understand. I do live in the desert and the weather is hot and dry. So a/c is running all day. And im wondering the only problem is humidity??

Don't be afraid that you might overwater it. You won't. It likes to be wet. If it is loosing leaves, it means it is thirsty. You should see a difference in less than a month. Please keep me posted!

Thank you for the encouragement! The plant has been here for ever. I don't remember how long it took it to reach this length. Maybe 5 years? I keep trimming it, though, and I don't let it grow bigger than it is now.

Ten bluszcz jest przyczepiony do ściany malutkimi haczykami. Oczywiście można by poprowadzić tam jeszcze inną roślinę, ale wydaje mi się, że tak jak jest, jest po prostu ładniej. Thank you! I am using very small nails and I have attached the ivy to the nails with a thread - a very thin white thread. If I didn't do that, the stems would be just hanging down.

@@tardwranglerif you didn't touch it at all for a considerable amount of time, then it probably might develop some roots that would attach to the wall, just like it does when it is growing up a tree. But the wall is very smooth and there is draft when the widows are open and there is always a reason to touch the stems: to trim them or to make them grow horizontally and not down. So they don't have a chance to attach to the wall.

No, it doesn't. However, I made a video about Philodendron hederaceum, another vine that I have at home, and it has a tendency to attach itself to the wall if not disturbed.
