This was a really nice and helpful video! I am now really considering the Reclaim Oracle... My autistic brain likes the multiple choice emotion question. I also really relate to doing tarot in those moments to kind of help develop questions and aspects to consider, so that you're actually going through the thing rather than have this cloud of general 'shit sucks' around you. It's nice to at least be able to articulate what's bad and why.

I'm glad you found it helpful! You're totally right, I've learned the hard way that, emotionally speaking, the way out is always through and these are good decks to help with that

Thank you for sharing your feelings with us. Yes, I have included using tarot for self soothing especially when I have a very unkind day at work. Working in the ICU at a hospital (especially 3 days before and after a full moon) can be obscenely harsh. I get out squidcake Marseilles, Nicolette cecoli tarot, Kawaii Tarot, and any affirmation deck I may have. I call these getting deck hugs. It has made coping with the grim ugliness from work easier a bit. Eventually I will start seeing a therapist, but until then this helps me smile easier. ❤❤❤ love and light to you. 🙏🏼

Oh that's a tough job, sending you lots of strength! Deck hugs can be so helpful sometimes, definitely a valuable tool 💖

You'll love this. One of the break-in ads was for a surefire way to manifest abundance. 😂 If a deck is capable of reminding you to take your meds, that's a good deck. 👍 I love Outgrow Yourself. It's a bit like that BFF who always gives you a loving reality check. I did make it that far and I did enjoy it.

I wish it was so easy to manifest abundance 😂 that's exactly what the Outgrow Yourself is and it's why I love it! 💖

Danielle Noel decks are pretty. I decided to pick between decks that were the same, like white or the black moonchild. I loved the black/ shadow edition and between the Starchilds, I picked the Akashic version. Rebecca Campbell has a new deck coming out. It’s called Ancient Stones.

The Shadow Moonchild is seriously tempting me... I will look out for the Ancient Stones deck too, I didn't know about that! 💖

The Outgrow Yourself (and your thoughts on it) are absolutely my flavour of self-help! When the reclaim oracle comes back in stock I’d really like to pick it up for using exactly the way you showed, I love the nuance in all the different words and I think it would be really valuable for lots of ND folk who struggle with naming or describing their feelings.

The Outgrow Yourself is the perfect middle ground between being supportive and nice, and actually being productive and helpful! I find the Reclaim so helpful, and I imagine you're right about it being particularly good for ND folk. It's probably no coincidence that one of the other reasons I like it is because the people don't really look like people, and they're not trying to make eye contact with me 😂

What a great way to work with the reclaim! I was put off by the deck for a while because I felt like i kept pulling cards that just did not resonate and was causing negativity where there didnt need to be

I find I've definitely got to be in the right heads cape for the Reclaim, it can be quite confronting sometimes for sure!

Hi Sylvie, I am so pleased you did this video it was so good. I also have the Healing Waters and Rose oracles which I do really like but I am not drawn to the other Rebecca Campbell decks. I also have the Shadow Moonchild by Danielle Noel which is stunning imo 🥰💖

Thank you! The shadow moonchild is pretty high on my own wishlist for this kind of thing 💖

Some of the decks that I could never use alone or never use in a “traditional way” because the seem to positive only… I find that some of them work in my practice in ways that probably are a bit unexpected. Few of my decks are “stand alone” anymore… and honestly… some of my “softest decks” have called me out the hardest.

LOVED this video!! I never thought to just take a flip through reclaim. I often have trouble identifying my emotions, I'll definitely give that a shot!

Thank you 💖 The Reclaim is so helpful to use in that way

I appreciated your take on how to use tarot and oracle decks when your emotions are a little nebulous! The grief one spoke to me specifically, as I lost my mother just over three years ago. So I think I'll give that a shot and see how it works for me. Thank you!
@TarotMagpie9 ай бұрын
Grief is long and messy, and working with cards has been very helpful for me as something to make it a little more tangible - I hope it helps you too 💖

Flipping through reclaim and just pulling what resonates is a great way to use that deck

It's so good for that, and I can be as involved as I want to be with it

Thank you so much for this video! I really loved it. I could relate to several of these struggles and I particularly loved your way of using the reclaim oracle, such a brilliant idea! I struggle to identify my emotions as well and will try this out for sure. I am also so happy to see some love for the Guardian of the Night tarot. I love that deck so much. I have the indie version and was going to perhaps get the mass market version since I would like to have a copy I can trim down to a smaller size. Thanks again for a wonderful video, I enjoyed it very much. ❤

I never thought I could use the Reclaim Oracle until I heard how you use it! I still don't need to go out and buy it, but I'll probably begin using the Poesis Oracle similarly. I find tarot makes me super anxious if I don't want to do the work I know I need to do, and that's a sign to me that I'm stalling by trying to draw cards. Thanks for this video. I should probably finish watching it now.

Stalling by trying to draw cards - totally get it! If I feel anxious pulling tarot, I need to be doing something else. Thanks for watching 💖

Tarot and oracle cards have a great way of summarising feelings when your brain can't do it! Really interesting to hear about how you use them as a tool and how different decks can work in different situations ❤

Thank you for sharing your decks and methods and what you might use them for. It's a tricky topic for sure. I really enjoyed how the Reclaim Oracle worked with you. Disclaimer-I am only speaking from a place of me and not a place of giving advice. I tend to go to decks that have a sense of humor, or at least I find them funny. The humor can range from silly, to dark, to weird. For me if I can find a way to laugh, or smile, see the joke if you will. Things get put in perspective in some weird way. I feel better or more capable. Two decks that work in this way for me are the Morgan's Tarot and the Stoller Tarot. Other decks I reach for when i am feeling vulnerable are my abstract art style decks. They give me a sense of freedom of traps being sprung open, Margarete Petersen Tarot and Tarot of the Spirit help me with those vulnerable aspects of myself. I find the ritual of shuffling, laying down the cards for a reading soothing as well. Sometimes all I ask the cards is to "talk to me" or "tell me a story".
