This was good. We also have to keep in mind each child is different. So what may work for you might not work for everyone. Just don’t want anyone to beat themselves up just because your tips did not work for them. From a Mom of 4 ❤.

Agree! My oldest daughter who is now 4 was just like him. And now with my 16 month old son is so different. He understands when i talk to him, if i ask him to get me a blue ball for example or ask for the remote he will bring it. However, he is not really saying words. And i keep comparing him to her and it’s so frustrating 😫
@shelleestewart3612Ай бұрын
@@lupeama7313 I totally understand my baby right now is 2 and he fully understands us but he won’t say more than a strong 5 words. My oldest who is now 15 she did not say her first word until she started speech therapy at 2 years old that same daughter is very smart she takes advance classes. My 2 middle kids started talking very early.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. It is important to remember that every child is unique and talented in their own way. We should celebrate each child's milestones and avoid making assumptions about what they should or should not be doing.

Ms. Rachel is a life saver! Love her. My 18 month old daughter is the same, she is so advance. Lol, she also knows Ms. Rachel’s episodes word for word. We’ve been singing the ABC’s to her since she was 3 months old and she’s singing it on her own now. Not fully clear but she’s getting there 😊.

I can testify to this my son is almost 2 in couple days and he's singing his Abc ,hes trying to count ,hes making the alphabet sounds ,hes calling others by their names ,he can tell me what he wants ,etc I'm proud.. We definitely need to teach them fr talk to them and let them help you do simple safe chores like help u pick up the clothes n such
@elizabethnzekwe9127Ай бұрын
Exactly, we need to let them help with simple safe chores. Amazingly they are always happy to assist. My daughter just turned 14 months when I'm picking out her clothes, I let her help me take them to the bed and She's always most excited to help. She feels getting involved and excited. Now she picks my phone to me and her daddy's phone to him. She's becoming more expressive

the internet aunties are PROUD! you are doing great Alivia!!. my little guy is 16 months, i definitely agree with all your tips. Our "problem" is that we speak two languages in the home (my husband only speaks English) and I'm teaching my mother tongue, so i know my kids brain is in shambles switching between the two languages. I'm thinking i should just teach/narrate everything in my mother tongue

My dr said kids like this typically take a bit longer to talk. I am in the same boat too. 2 languages at once is confusing

From a SAHM to another 🙌🏾, this is so beautiful! I have a 4 year old and soon to be 2 years old. My girls are like might & day. My oldest knew her ABCs, colors, numbers & Sign Language but didn’t start really talking until she was 2 years old. My youngest 😅, this girl can talk, knows her shapes, knows Sign Language and the difference between big & small, etc. That’s when I learned myself that every child is different ❤. Keep doing what you’re doing ❤! Love to see it!

Great Vlog! Angel is absorbing new language like a sponge :) I hope You will continue to be such an intuitive Mom. I definitely agree that down time is essential. Children do need peace and quiet like You mentioned. It is just as important for their mental clarity and creativity to flourish. You would surely be an excellent Preschool Teacher --doing the "Extra'". lol Children love the Extra. I also taught My Preschoolers Basic Bible Stories and good values as a Christian Preschool Teacher for 23 years. The Children were more peaceful and happy with God in the classroom! Blessings!!!🤗😇
