I just spent $200 to color my hair at the salon a similar color as yours. I love the color but I had no idea that red hair was high maintenance. Had I known I would never have done it. LOL. I plan on dyeing my own roots because the hairdresser already told me it's $80 for the touchup. That's alot of money! By the way, you are gorgeous. Thanks for the info.

I’ve been doing this for 4 years every time I wash my hair and my towels get stained I’m like “ok why did I pick this color?” But when my color is fresh I fall in love all over again. It’s really affordable to do at home just a little messy. Thank you so much for watching!! Let me know if you need advice on coloring your hair at home ♥️

@@SabaAdane Curl-friend, yes....Your hair is very similar to mine. The salon lady put bleach in my hair so my curls have loosened up a bit and now more frizzy and undefined. I am so pissed. I put in a protein treatment and it's doing better but not back to normal. Here's the thing. The lady left a few darker spots towards the front of my hair. I'm afraid to go back to have her fix it cuz she'll likely want to put more bleach in my hair. So I'm thinking maybe I can just fix it at home. And then I found your video. I may try a test on a few strands. Do you have any idea if this hair color line can be used on hair already red (Like once my hair color starts to fade)?

Man oh man I’ve definitely been there lol but honestly the only thing to do is to bleach it out. Coloring it again won’t help unless you want an overall darker shade. I had issues getting an even color too. I mix bleach with 10 vol developer (or lower if you can find some) and a heavy conditioner. After I’ll do a protein and hydrating mask. You can even mix bleach with just a watery conditioner but I haven’t tried that yet myself. Make sure to to section your hair neatly and apply it evenly and quickly just to the dark areas. If it’s a large area work in small sections and time it for 10 minutes (from application to processing). Do this till you reach your desired lift, you might process quicker than me but keep an eye on it. Also don’t cover it either. For me slow and steady removal prevents over processing and breakage. I know that was a lot of info... I hope this helps!

Tried your method to touch my color up and it worked perfectly! Going to continue to mix my semi with a hair mask. Also feel like the ion helped prevent color bleeding. Thank you!

Yes, probably because it helps seal the cuticle off so color lasts just a tad longer. Thanks for watching & I’m happy this method worked for you!

Hi, did you apply the L’Oréal hicolour to your roots only? And then the panic manic to your ends?
@SabaAdane10 ай бұрын
Hi there, yes I did. I’ve tried so many ways to refresh my color and I found that this way leaves my previously processed strands soft & manageable, while maintaining the integrity of my hair. Besides, both applications of color will bleed down filling the hair so you get a pretty uniform color result in my experience.

What shampoo and conditioner do you use to keep the red so bright??
@SabaAdane3 жыл бұрын
Well technically I don’t use a specific shampoo or conditioner. I try to co-wash often and shampoo when needed. I like mixing semi-permanent color into my conditioners or buy a color depositing deep conditioner since shampoo removes so much of my color. My favorites are Garnier Color Reviver in Vibrant Red and Moroccan oil Color depositing mask in Bordeaux ♥️ hope this helped!
