First I am so excited to see a new video from you. Second, thank you for always sharing your knowledge with us. I always learn a lot from your videos. Third I would really like to know why you say people shouldn't use henna. (This comes from my inquisitive side.) This video reminds me why I will never dye my hair myself. I have yet to ever dye my hair but when I do, a professional will definitely handle the process.

In simple terms, it’s not chemically balanced making it unstable and over time can erode the integrity of the hair causing dryness, breakage and loss of curl pattern. It also processes wildly and doesn’t have consistent or predictable results.

Your results are always Gorgeous! Now...I know you have never suggested this!! You are always sound professional advice, but I'm coloring over my natural BAQ henna! (not metallic or salts henna). I'm just tired of the ugly brownish orange. I successfully dyed it all Black with Garnier Olia Black box dye, or so I thought...but since henna is permanent, even the permanent Black box dye faded completely off in a few months like a rinse, lol. My color is completely back! Not to mention my frontal grays are relentless. I'm gonna follow this and use those two colors, without the 40/30 developer and see what I get. My hair is healthy due to the henna and very strong but I need a change in color even if its for a few months.

Hi, Mo! My colorist mentioned that blue tinted wash products would be needed to protect lighter colors. Even though they aren't blue, are your products also safe for pastel colors? I've been following your channel for years and now (finally) have the courage to color my hair for the first time 👏🏽. Going all out from black to platinum silver - lettuce pray 🤣 - and I'm hoping I won't need to "archive" your products in my new color maintenance routine. They've truly done wonders for my hair. Your hair is just gorgeous. I am having my stylist color with a demi permanent black can I do this the same day as a relaxer or wait a couple of weeks? We are relaxing with the Olaplex system.
