All this talk about spreadsheets, and charts is making the admin side of my brain very happy. There are two ways that I track my reading. I) My Reading Journal - which is a bullet journal specifically designed for me to joint down how I read ( Audio/ Screen/ Physical) over the month and what I've read and my ratings for them. I also use this to track my readathon reading and it engages my creativity as I choose different themes for each month. II) Good Reads, Simple, effective and I can go back and see what I read overall in the year.

I use Goodreads, my bullet journal, and a spreadsheet to track my books read. But also to track my book collection and hauls each month. I have a separate notebook that has all of my collections in it which I love to have on the side as well. My bullet journal has my books read, reading challenge, an overall read list, hauls, pages read, my a-z reading challenge. It has everything for it and it’s great for that. I love having my spreadsheet to keep track of everything and it’s a great way to have a lot more specific details of what I’m reading and have read. I use your tracker for the converters a lot. And I used it during a read a thon and it was great to have! Goodreads I do use frequently but really mainly as a way to rate and review books but I do love seeing the overall stats on it as well!

I use Goodreads, a spreadsheet and a reading journal! Goodreads is mainly to track want to read and reviews, spreadsheet I fill out at the beginning of the month with genres, total pages, etc. Reading journal tracks almost everything! Daily pages, Readathon challenge, mini first thoughts/spoilers, number of books read, TBR shelf, challenges - popsugar/similar stuff, books bought, film adaptations, author gender, rating, age range, genre, page count in ranges... I track a lot. I set my reading goal at 100 this year, but I normal read about 40 in a year previously... I’ve read 93 books this year! It really helps me to see it visually.

I use goodreads but this year I’ve really gotten into spreadsheets too. I mean, I’ve always loved them but I only this year started to use them for tracking my reading. I’ve been using your readathon tracker as a month long tracker for a few months now - I actually even use the challenge feature to estimate how many pages I need to read a day before books are due back at the library. I also have a spreadsheet of my own creation tracking info on each of the books I’ve read this year, just different things like release year and author gender and nationality (and many many more). One of my partners is a data analyst and is going to help me do some cool stuff with all the data at the end of the year, we even recently came up with the idea of also importing the data from my mood tracking app (Daylio) and seeing how mood might have affected my reading! I think I’m more excited to dig into my data at the end of the year than I am about Christmas - I don’t know what that says about me.

I keep one book (Bibliophile Reading Journal) only for 5 star or favorite books ever. I keep a reading journal with my answers to tags, etc. it’s a daily journal with notes about characters etc. I am a mess with my TBR. I have Goodreads, an excel spreadsheet, a list, blah blah. I have hundreds!!

I use Goodreads mainly but only because it is owned by Amazon so my Kindle is linked to it and it automatically records my start and finish dates and star ratings. I do have Brock's 2019 spreadsheet and I set it up right at the beginning of the year but I have fallen behind with keeping it up to date.

I use my country equivalent of Goodreands (called lubimyczytac.pl = "welovetoread") but since August I use your spreadsheet monthly. I was thinking of creating yearly overview based on monthly spreadsheets which could import a list of completed books, start and end date, how many days did I read them and maybe some statistics based on that... Have you thought about that (adding it as a companion spreadsheet provided that individual monthly ones have a certain naming format and are saved in the same folder)? I will see if I am able to crack that before the end of a year.

In 2018 I was writing down what days I completed reading in a planner. 2019 I tried using excel but thinking for 2020 plan is to write them in a bullet journal. I seem to be doing better writing things down by hand then recording them in my excel spreadsheet.

I used Goodreads and just write all the books I need to read each month in a notebook. I am a book reviewer and I get so many books (mostly ebooks) to review that I find that is the only way I can keep track. I don't even pretty up my notebook pages because I have no creativity and i don't really have the time.

Well, I am just a complete slacker on this. I write down the title, author, number of pages and month and year I read the book. I try to write it down in a specific notebook, usually something spiral-bound, but I've been known to write in the nearest notebook at hand. It's not that I'm lazy. It's that I've been keeping track as well as I can since I was 14, which was 1968. Now that I'm retired I'm unhauling many of my physical books and relying on my e-reader and the library. I've always been a fast reader so I read a little over 100 books per year even when I was teaching full time and raising kids. Recently, life has kept me busy with other things and I've been a little off my reading. I'm participating in Victober to get back on track. I should probably consolidate all those notebooks into a life list just like a birdwatcher! lol
