I've just found your channel and I'm loving it already! You have some great content, will you upload any empty hand videos soon?
@daniel_bernas4 жыл бұрын
I'm happy to hear you like the content here! :) Unfortunately, I don't really do empty hands enough to showcase it just yet. But I'm not saying it will never happen either. :)

I really like the way you teach and spend the time to go over details. I am just starting. Do you think I should just teasing on strikes 1 and 2 until I get it perfect. Then add strikes 3 and 4.

Thanks man! That really depends on what you're after, in my opinion. Looking to perfect one effective strike? Stick with it first. Looking to get an understanding of different movements? Explore in quantity. Let your training goals guide you (and let them change when they need to). ☺️

What is your homemade setup for training... I see that you have some sticks taped together in video.. for use in practice strikes ?

It’s been a long running thought, but what are the blade/bolo trainers you use? Where could one get them and also, where could we get some hand/arm and head protection for sparring? Would appreciate your reply very much!
@daniel_bernas4 жыл бұрын
Hey Rabin 1. The trainer swords in the video were custom made by a friend. They're foam covered swords with a polymer based for friendly light sparring. You can get all sorts of training blades and gear from Kalahi FMA Gear though. I have a few in my collection. But if it's the foam swords you're interested in, shoot me a DM on Instagram and I'll see if my friend can take orders. 2) I use a saber fencing helmet for my sparring these days due to their flexibility of use (live stick or padded stick) as well as the comfort. But they aren't standard sports arnis head gear. Kalahi FMA Gear also sells sports arnis protective gear if you're looking for those.

I just wonder if its okay to train/sparring with your siblings. Even though your not wearing any protective gear. Might not be safe but if knew arnis i would try
