Where your beard is right now is the exact look I’m going for. I have good genetic for that style but in the past I’ve rocked a cleanup scruffy look a lot. I trimmed my neck line closer to my jaw line. That is why I’m watching this video. The thing is I gave my face, checks, stash, etc a two or three week head start so I’m getting close to needing to carve in a proper beard neckline. Instead of taking it right up under my jawline. It looks like I’ll be fine even though many people seem to shun starting with more on the face than neck.

Great video Greg. Yea as we age our chin does sag and no amount of weight lose fixes it. A beard hides it, so Nick line is super important. I’ll be 47 in 8 days so it’s important to make my neckline just above Adam’s Apple and essentially shave straight across w/head back, it puts nice line on w/a natural looking jaw and neckline. Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I agree with the way you line up your beard. The only issue I encounter is that I have a big scar on the left side of my face and neck. I have to allow my facial hair to grow a little longer in one spot to be able to cover the worst area that is right below my jawline. If I don't allow the hair to grow a bit longer, it leaves a noticeable patch that makes it look uneven with the other side. Anyways, take care and thanks again for the tips! Btw, nice beard brother. My neckbeard is starting to fill in now Before I had a Chinstrap, but now the growth is spreading on my face and neck a little more each year. I'm new to this self trimming facial hair stuff so I'm kind of lost. I will shave my entire beard to even it out and try to grow a full beard now that my neck hair has began to grow in. Any tips for facial hair to connect to the sideburn from the mustache? Shampoo, Conditioner, and Oil isn't working as fast as I would like it to, but over the past 3 years of doing that routine it has made significant growth despite my genetics.
