I'm so amazed!! This is really awesome!! You did an awesome job on her face!! I love how you added that hidden doll stand under her skirt. That sheer fabric is perfect on that scale!! Her hair looks so wonderful!! The way you made the hat, you would never know it's made out of foil!!

Thank you but I think mine always end up with older Finnish faces and I can’t seem to help that! I try to do differently but 🇫🇮 wins out lol And yeah, what they’re made out of was a shocker for me too! And here I thought my foil forms were primitive 😂

Have you ever tried Sculpey Living Doll clay? Its Sculpey polymer clay made specifically for doll head and hands. It's a finer grade of clay made to hold the smallest of details. Just thought you might want to try it for your next doll project. I have seen it sold at Michael's so it is easy to find. You did a great job with this transformation. Brilliant way to work her hat. Bravo! I will miss the little mouse witch though.

She is super cute. I like how you "just start." You are braver than I am! But I did finally start on my tree. I have to keep referring back to your videos, so if you suddenly find a lot more views, it's probably just me. LOL

Aww that last part made me giggle lol thanks for that! And be sure to see my newer videos on bark since I learned a bit about texture paint and hiding patterns on certain paper towel. Have SO much fun. Now that you’ve started, it’ll never end 😂 Just a warning! My 1st one went on and on for over a decade 😅

You are amazing! How did you get that idea, to turn a wonderful doll House doll In to a witch? She is just wonderful. Thanks for showing us ❤
@WhereTheGnomesLive11 ай бұрын
Thank you!! There’s a trend going around til tok where people turn their Willow figurines into witches by giving them hats and painting their dresses black. That got me thinking about this and what a time saver to be able to use a ready made poseable body.. but she needed more than a hat, these porcelain faces are way too petite and smooth lol. I’m looking forward to doing the same with my other ones now!

So cool, I never thought we could use a ready-made doll. She looks amazing. What about a Barbie Doll can we use them w clay?
@WhereTheGnomesLive11 ай бұрын
You could use a Barbie if you air dry clay. I’m not sure about using oven bake clay since the Barbie could melt..? I think it might melt but I’ve never tried it. I hope that helps 🙂

I love this idea! Do you think it could be don to a porcelain doll with a shiny finish?

I believe the one I used had a shiny finish.. unless I’m misunderstanding the question?

You did an amazing job on her hair! How did you curl the yarn? The moon 'pin' was the perfect touch. 😊 I also loved the way you added on the brim of the hat. I Never would have thought of doing that!
@WhereTheGnomesLive11 ай бұрын
Thank you very much, I appreciate your awesome comment! 🥰 I didn’t curl it, it’s called Boucle Yarn in greys. You can use any yarn, I chose that one just for the color. If you ever use it for hair, I cut a length and pull it at both ends. Once fully stretched out it’ll reveal 2 separate threads that the yarn is spun around, I pull those threads out to release the curl. It can be used as is, of course, but she’s a tiny doll so I had to thin the yarn out a bit. Hope that helps 🙂
