there is a video on KZbin showing just that.. they put the hot glue over clear plastic! And then cut out the part they'll use. I wanna try it soon.. looks really awesome and easy enough to do

oh my goodness, I've hoarded our empty coffee cans for the same reason but my boyfriend thinks I might never use them! lol lol We'll use them when the time is right :)

This is awesome! If you didn't want to paint the lights, you can also cover each bulb with a tiny bit of tissue paper (color of your choice) and a teensy smear of glue. It works really well 😊

I think your fireplace flames look good! The acorn is cute, but I'd sure like to see an update on your portable tree. I'm trying to build one, but it's not looking so great. Hopefully it will improve as I get further along.

Ohh I’m so sorry about the delay. I had an unfortunate event happen as I was building more onto it. I had filmed so much, edited and voiced over, endless hours of work and then my computer crashed, wiping out ALL my saved work. I believe I had 11 videos at the time waiting to be finished and released. It was a bit “soul crushing” to say the least. I have to muster up the inspiration to get back to the tree house again lol I don’t want to give false hope by giving a time frame but I’ll certainly be getting back to it. It does yell at me every day as I pass by it to work on other things 😂❤️
