How did you convert that 659.0 ffe to tenths of feet, I guess what I’m confused on is what is the 659 measured in in order to convert on the grade rod?

Like the video, Have you ever tried using a "Lenker Rod"..also know as a direct reading rod? Makes grade reading so much easier and removes math mistakes.

Metric is obviously the same principle, but so much easier. Everything building related is measured in millimeters.
