To me, the VDE knife is more if you are working on a live system and accidentally drop the knife. If it's not VDE then you can short two areas but an insulated knife would stop that from happening.

Olfa are the only snap off I use. Definitely the milwaukee for the rest.

I've used my OLFA for 25 years since I was in window tinting and needed a top quality snap blade. I recently bought a new one specifically for my sparky apprenticeship tool bag.

Hi find Tajima knife sooo much better than those flimsy box cutter knives, plus my stanely knife good for most. Tajima is great for cutting a siliconed isolator off the wall etc

Hi Corey, Hope you are doing well mate. I had a few questions : 1) Is becoming a electrician part time worth it ? like lets say you are first year out after fully completing your certification can you only work Fri-Sunday ? Or do employers when you aren't that experienced only hire full time workers ? 2) Is there a preferred place to do your course from a employer point of view ? or is any institute equal ? 3) If someone has no experience in this trade where should you think they should start for some career guidance ? Thanks for your videos they are very helpful in providing insight on being a sparkie :)

I've never heard of a sparky working part time. The employer will put you in the trade school closest to where you live and all schools follow the same curriculum so they're all equal (well, some are a bit shit lol) I have a video on how to get an apprenticeship for Australians which you can watch here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mp65g6umZqmDf6s I'm glad my videos are helping ya👍
