Wow, I've only had 3 sewing machines and I'm old LOL. I had a $99 sewing machine for 30 years. I made clothes for my daughter, quilting, and small projects. I just recently bought a new Brother sewing machine and I sew lots of different things! I'm trying to get my Etsy shop going but it's been a struggle. Recently purchased a serger but I'm overwhelmed and haven't even threaded it yet. Hopefully watching you I will be inspired to learn how to use it. thanks again for your channel! Love it

I have only had 2 machines in 40 years. Both were Singers simple straight and zigzag. Last year I started making heavy canvas swing covers and have been thinking about purchasing a new one. I would like one that cuts the thread, does lock stitch and has the up down needle position options. Every time I put one in my Amazon basket I talk myself out of it. I should just bite the bullet and donate my old one to my niece. Thanks for sharing.

Your sewing room looks like a very happy place. I have multiple machines too. Good for you on the Brother embroidery! I've owned several and used to have the embroidery only version of the one you have now. Brother embroidery machines are the most user friendly and intuitive ones out there.

I am really enjoying your channel. Thank you for showing us all of your machines. I am embarrassed about my sewing machine collection (not really). I have 2 sewing machines that I actually use: One a singer professional (it is NOT a professional sewing machine). It is just a computerized machine with not much power but I still use it for some projects. My other sewing machine is the Janome 6700P. Love, love, love it. I also have 4 vintage sewing machines that I do not use and are only for looks. I wish I had a treadle machine. I have a 3 embroidery machines. I do use all of them and sometimes all of them at the same time. I also have a business. I have a Brother 1034D serger. I don't make clothes, but I do use it when making my kitchen towels and pillowcases.

Yes, when your business is sewing, you can never have too many, lol..I have just one, it's a heavy duty singer. I hope one day to become better at sewing, and can upgrade to a better machine. Thanks for sharing a bit about yourself.

One day you can, I did it one at a time. I sew everyday I can and I find my sewing machine keeps going to the service center every other month. So looking into upgrading into proper industrial machines next year 😊

Wowww! I’m jealous! But happy for you! I don’t have the space for so many machines anyway, and I don’t have a business so I really don’t need them. Everything I make I give away. Coasters, key wristlets and hair accessories mainly.

I have 5 sewing machines.One is a combination BabyLock embroidery and sewing machine which hasn't been hardly used, a Babylock serger and 3 others that I occasionally used for doll clothes and making mittens, hats and baby items for charity. I need to get inspired again to start making things.

I love seeing other people’s sewing machine collections! I have 5. My first ever machine is a Brother Compal Ace from 1985-ish..she’s a metal beast that I’m keeping forever, beautiful stitches with a front loading bobbin..even the sewing machine repair man was impressed with how nice the stitches are. I have a Brother NV400 that I use for quilting and garment sewing. I have two overlockers..a metal Baby (brand), 3 threads, and a Brother 2504D (it’s a b&$ch to thread). Also I inherited a Singer GL220 metal machine 1975-ish..not quite sure what to do about that one. Such fun collecting though. My next purchase will be an embroidery machine.

Hi! Like you I have a nice collection of machines. Most are vintage. I have a Brother SQ9285(i think), a Brother 1034D Serger, a 1952 Singer 92-50, a 1950 Singer Featherweight, a 1966(I think) Singer Spartan, a random sewing machine that a friend gave me and she purchased it when a local sewing school was going out of business, and last but not least, my late 1800’s/early 1900’s Wilcox snd Gibbs chain stitch machine. I still need an antique Singer Treadle machine, like your grandma had, an embroidery machine and a long arm. I will need a separate house just to accommodate my sewing machines. Lol.

I began on a bernette out of school, it didn’t survive a cyclone, I now have a basic singer but have borrowed a Toyota and am fixing a janome and have an overlocker but have my eye eventually to get one like your semi industrial after your recommendation!
