Hello. I do use the daphne's Diary exact the same way as you do. I am a subscriber of the magazine from the beginning. I am Dutch and the magazine is from a Dutch girl. I have baskets full of these magazine papers I use for journals. I also cut the edges from the papers with flowers or other pattern and use them when I make my own covers, I glue the strips of paper in a random way until my copy paper is ful. I cut the posters in four, so I can use them easily as a page in a journal. So I almost re-use the whole magazine. I like the way you make your journals and use them as a diary yourself with pictures and text. Very nice.

I’m so happy your channel came to me! I love how you send the remainder with some orders I think that’s such a great idea! You’re right, it gives a person permission to keep cutting! I like the pictures and interactive things but I’m not much of a journaler (writing). You’re so talented! It’s so expensive for a subscription to the US.

Hi Juni Fellow Aussie here and was curious with the Daphne’s Diary journals you can’t profit from them due to copyright but I was wondering if making ephemera ie tags or collage journal cards is that something that can be sold ??? I’m also a fan of these magazines I have my newsagent who only gets 2 in put them aside for me. I beg him not to accidentally sell them but I’m safe as I’m the only one that buys them 😂 I end up buying both with the intention of keeping one to cut apart and the other for my collection (I’m yet to use them 😆 so they are weighing down the bookcase but they are so lovely NO ONE in the house is to touch them Though when I see them made into journals it makes me want to make one Maybe I need an old destroyed one myself because I just can’t bring myself too it… I know nuts right ??? It’s just a magazine but it’s so pretty 😍 I can’t so I wish I could just buy someone’s made one lol 😂

Hello, so glad you like the magazine too. So beautiful, isn't it. Yep, so we can't sell anything that uses DD, that includes journals, ephemera, etc. Only for personal use or to give away is my understanding. You might have to buy three copies - hehe!

Thought it was worth mentioning that the copyright on Daphne’s Diary specifically states that you can’t sell anything with their pages, or use them for anything other than personal use. The images are licensed, so not to be used for resale. The copyright notice is in all magazines.

Do you ever make diaries/journals out of purchased notebook using Daphne's Diary magazines?

I've only made journals using the actual magazine. I use the covers of the magazine for covers as well as envelopes and paper bags

So sad you can't use cut outs in these magazines to create something new to sell so that you can buy more of their magazines. Doesn't make good business sense to me. I can understand not copying imagines to use in crafts but actually buying a magazine and not being able to cut it out and use in sellable crafts is crazy. It's like cutting off your nose to spite your face. After this subscription I am cancelling it. I don't need something I can't repurpose at a later date. I like to invest my money not spend it.

I would so love it if we could use the images in works we sell too but I also love just using the images and pages for personal journals and gifts. I’ve given so many of DD journals to friends over the years - so fun. And I love repurposing the magazine for my personal journaling. I get so much use out if them in these other ways
