My favorite thing to do is sample a single source, and highly manipulate it, making a complete track. It isn't easy, and you really have to manipulate the heck out of the sounds, but it creates an overall color that's hard to deny.

I love the subtle variation via the LFO to slightly change the sample start time....really cool. Your personal sound library is awesome, great sound design. This track is so simple but it doesn't sound like anyone else and that's what it's all about, your own voice! .So glad I found your channel, looking forward to experiencing more your other KZbins.

Hello you sound like you are from the UK? I am in Cambridgeshire. Im not sure if anyone has ever told you, My friend, but you are a very good teacher I for one would love to see a beginner's guide to the DT, I have had my own DT for 2 days now but only had time for an hours practice, You explain things very well and a new Sub from me but i would love to learn more from you. I hope you have time to do a video and also more tips and tricks, Many thanks Steve

Jamooshoe I us Elektron’s transfer program to move samples from Ableton to the Digitakt. That said, recording straight into the digi works great.

@@BlankFor_ms your voice reminds me a lot of Red Means Recording for some reason. I just got a Digitakt and found this video super interesting. I still haven't checked out Eurorack yet, how do you go about syncing the modules with the Digitakt? I assume a module that accepts MIDI in so that clock can be sent, but then where does the clock go from there, CV and sequencer modules?

would u recommend the digitakt to a beginner who’s looking to get into ambient tape loops? if not, what synth would u recommend?
@BlankFor_ms4 жыл бұрын
For tape loops, buy a tape machine! Tascam probably. For a synth, what’s your budget?
@sunsetdrive_4 жыл бұрын
i’ve been looking into tape machines, i was asking bc i’m not sure what would be a good beginner synth to get that warm, lush, ambient sound. i’m really intrigued by the digitakt tho that’s why i asked. my budget is around 7-800 bucks

@BlankFor_ms4 жыл бұрын
sunsetdrive • you can use it as a digital mono synth, it works pretty well that way. And, that takes up just one of the 8 tracks. Though, if you want a synth the digitone might be a better option.
