How I use my Chase Bliss MOOD

Here's a short video of how I typically use my ‪@ChaseBlissAudio‬ Mood in the context of my style at my church. It super fun, and versatile. Im definitely not using it to its full potential, but I enjoy how I use it.

For pad stuff, I can’t recommend enough trying the No Dub+Latch dip switches. As long as those are engaged and you’re in mkii mode, it allows you to have a pad that follows your chords. Instead of the overdub, it turns the memory of the looper to 1-2 repeats of the phrase and leaves the overdub on for new information. SUUUUPER useful for pads, and if you want regular mood again you just step on the looper switch again to unlatch the overdub and it I’ll act like normal. Also, if you don’t want it to go for full pads but you want something to give some excitement to your delays and stuff, no dub is also really good at just chewing on that kind of a signal.

The Stretch mode gets very interactive if you start turning the looper side Length knob towards the centre, especially just from 6 or 9 o'clock towards just before 12..At 12 it freezes whatever the soundscape is..

Yeah thats true. But for me it’s just not as interactive as when I’m on the tape side normally. I like something about the tape just a little better, can’t really put my finger on it though.

@@anthonygroves16 Oh yes well if that's your favourite that's cool!!I love them all,they do different things..I love ambient soundscapes so the stretch mode is awesome for long drawn out pads etc..

Me to bro, it’s one of my favorite things to do! I also should have mentioned, but I didn’t in the video. I usally use my tc electronic mini infinite sustainer for the long pad stuff. So I can use more of the glitch things in the mood. It’s definitely not as nice, and doesn’t move as much as the stretch mode on the mood. But if I need just a simpler drone pad, I’ll use the tc instead

@@anthonygroves16 Yea that's great!!I do the same myself sometimes..I have multiple reverb pedals before Mood that can have infinite decay..plus I have Red Panda Particle 2 after the Mood if I want more glitch stuff or if I have a pad on the Mood going...The Particle is a great pedal and it has a freeze function too ...

Yeah, so I normally have the miso switch on because I run mono in and stereo out. Spread dip on, smooth dip on, and trails dip on

I just got mine and have a similar use case but have been using stretch more. I want to tape & slip more like u … curious did you turn on any of the hidden sync features?

Nope no hidden sync feature, just as is and it’s ready to go

I like the slip but it always changes the key - how did you get it to play the same key in reverse

With slip it has to be either all back or all the way forward, for it to stay in the same key. Anything in between will change it. Forwarded it push the relates in a forward motion, backwards it reverses everything

Ohh I see. Actually that’s not a clone, it’s a Tone Ranger Prickly Preamp. Well I guess it is technically a clone, because it’s his clone of the SD3000 pre amp in the old rack units Edge likes
