Running a buffer into a buffer into a buffer is not an issue. It’s a common practice to obtain signal integrity in the electronic design world.

Yeah not in a guitar world. Give that try and let me know the results. I have done that before when buffers were the new cool thing. They add noise to your signal, increasing the noise floor. So running 3 buffers into each other, one right after another would have definitely cause noise issues.

Nice build, pretty similar to the one I put together myself after having my pedals on the floor way too long. I have the Stomp XL with a nice assortment of pedals. I really need something like the MC6 Pro. I really needed a cable tester, would have saved me a lot of grief, but I got it done.

What midi cables are you using on the stomp? I’ve got mine in a similar position on my board and like how low profile yours are.

I’m glad the Crux got some love here. I bought one for my QC and kept it when I went to the Stomp. It’s an incredible piece of kit for what seems like a reasonable price. Awesome sounds and clean build. Cheers

Oh I still love my Altar amp works ones, I use theirs a lot still! Just depends on what I’m feeling. But now I use Kenyon’s personal captures that aren’t on the TF site. They are really good to 💪🏼

Love your pedal choices and layout. It is a lot more work for sure, but I use canare gs-4, square plugs, and cardas silver solder. I've had those solderless cables for years and I have scars. Soldered is set it and forget it! Keep up the great content!

Thank you!! I definitely want to learn how to solder, I’ve never learned. Honestly I haven’t had issues from solderless. It may have more to do with how often I change my board, and I check my cables everytime I do lol. Eventually I’ll get on the solder train

What case is deep enough to fit the pedalboard with the Lift on it?

So the case I have is the case that came with the board. It’s a Blackbird 1224 alchemy board with the ATA case. They are hard to find now, because the company doesn’t make them anymore. But it first all the pedals and the riser perfectly.

Is coming from my hx stomp! I have a glitch patch I call microcosm to give me those types of sounds. It’s free on my site if you wanna download it for yourself, if you have a hx stomp. I’m using the glitch delay, and particle verbs algo’s to get that sound.
