I think it's still just as fun as drawing. Especially for beginners who are practicing, if you don't feel like redrawing something, or if your main focus is inking/practicing coloring or hairstyles. I think it's very creative. Love them 😍

@@PeachReaver but it could have been even more challenging doing an entire illustration tho, with varied poses and stuff.. I mean, she can do what she wants, but I just dont think I personally would have gained anything from using a base

@Avethy Why would I want to make it even more challenging than it already is though? Did you ever notice how people burn out during inktober because they set their expectations too high and challenge themselves too much? This is exactly what I don't want to happen. I don't want to burn out, nor go through an unhealthy amount of pressure. I am being realistic and I am setting up achievable daily goals. My objective is to practice drawing whatever I want and create a habit. I know the amount of challenge I can tackle with the amount of time I have every day. If you personally don't think you would've gained anything by drawing hair then that is fine, I personally feel it is an excellent exercise and I am gaining plenty of experience. Please don't dismiss the amount of work that goes into doing this every day, we should all be free to decide on the challenges we take based on our current situation and lifestyle.

@@NicollesDreamsShop thats great! Im glad you feel like it's still an adequate challenge for you. I didn't mean to sound like I meant you spesifically, I just meant in general. Obviously you know how to make bodies and faces since you made the stamp, but if you were a beginner artist starting from skratch and only using bases then that might be more of a hinder than a help. But you're right, if you don't have time to do it all then it's better to do the things you can afford the time to than nothing at all. I should have been more spesific in saying that *I personally* wouldnt gain anything from doing this, but I'm sure a lot of people still do (well, at least if they don't keep using it forever).

This video is lovely and I'm glad you found a way to have fun with your art! I'm sorry you are getting comments about you cheating, or being lazy because you are using the stamp. It's way more important to enjoy what you make. It's not healthy if all you can think about is improving and never have fun with creating.

fun stamps! A good idea for quickly designing your own different hairstyles as well! I create fashion model templates both to trace over traditionally and to paint over (on a layer above) digitally. Creating more as needed. This allows me to quickly design hairstyles, jewelry and clothing! If I was you I'd mention that option when marketing these. Keep up the great content, thanks!

This was a very cool and cute video to see your process and your original idea! Making your own unique stamp sounds like its own super cool and unique process. Since you've done it once already, doing it again in the future must be less daunting. Looking forward to your ideas on how to apply them! Sorry you have to deal with these nasty snob comments from haters. It makes me so mad for you, like do these people even know how long the simplest painting takes? It takes me a couple dozen hours just to paint a post-card-sized piece, even when just copying a photograph or design from somewhere else! And do these people think that traditional artists who literally just 'copy' and paint/draw things they see in real life are 'lazy'? What must they think of photographers, huh? Really, the snobbery is infuriating! )Sorry if I lost my temper a bit too much in the comments...) I'd like to design my own stamp some day, as kind of my 'seal' haha, like a signature. Since my real signature is so ugly. Maybe you could make your own logo design for stamping or other cool ideas some day too :) . This kind of idea somewhat reminds me of dress-up games. I am not surprised it would be popular with fans of your work too, since it can work as nice sorts of 'training wheels' or a fun casual hobby-art-level tool for people who want to make hair and character designs, but are afraid about the tough technical stuff with anatomy. I had a friend in high school once who asked me to draw her a body base too, so that she could draw her character details over it, so I think many creatives, especially budding ones, would indeed be excited by such stamp/product ideas!

My goal was to explain every step in detail so that there is no margin of error when people purchase my stamps. That will save me a lot of time in the future. I watched a similar video when I was learning about how to use these, so I am sure it will be beneficial to others as well :) If someone on a video speaks too slowly for my taste I just speed up the video playback to 1.5 or 2x that helps a lot!

And to further respond to people complaining about "Same face syndrome " who cares?!?! Let the artist draw!!! Unless they asked for your critique dont say anything, their art doesn't exist to meet anyones standards but their own.
