I’m wondering though, if you couldn’t actually deposit this cash back into the bank because you didn’t have a branch nearby, would you save the cash as your next cash withdrawal and keep the unstuffing amount in the account to replenish the buffer? Or would you do maybe a money order to deposit the cash via mobile deposit? Or would you open an account at a bank that had a branch near you, transfer the paycheck to that bank, and use that for the cash envelopes while keeping the online bills paid through the old account? I’d love to get your thoughts on this! We’re just starting our cash journey and I know trial and error will be the best advisor, but I’m still curious of your thoughts. I appreciate you!

Would you mind doing a video about this or briefly going over this topic: how to stay debt free. I became consumer debt free (minus student loans) a little over a month ago and I find myself overspending again. It’s not unmanageable because I’m able to pay the bill but I don’t know if the solution is to allow myself more money within my budget. Any advice and guidance would be super helpful. It’s funny because I remember someone telling me that debt is a good thing but it’s only good when it’s being leveraged not when you’re drowning in it. Thank you for showing us that credit card usage after debt payoff is possible because I think a lot of people like myself swear them off but then end up using them again lol

Good question! I don’t take out all the money out of our account when I cash stuff 🖤 we keep a buffer in our account so we can still use our debit card
