Hey travelers! How do you use your iPad while traveling?

I use it everyday for work, and while traveling. I consume email, read various presentations, spreadsheets etc. I use it to write outlines for presentations or various work related things. I use it to watch videos while traveling as well. I also use an Xbox controller and play games. I’ve stopped traveling with my gaming pc.

So you basically only use it as a 2nd screen, which you could do with any old ipad.

I’ve been using this set up for the last 5-6 years with my 13” iPad Pro … 3rd gen? Except with AstroPad Studio and Luna, mainly because I’m an illustrator and using the Apple Pencil with, at the time, “sidecar” had too much latency for my liking while using the iPad to draw and paint in Photoshop. Just thinking out loud, but I’d be interested in seeing how the latency is while using extended desktop, AND using the pencil with photoshop to work from like one would with a Wacom. Hope that made sense lol

Have you tried editing from the iPad? I find it to be just as good as an MacBook, only negative is longer export times

I actually have not as I felt the process would be slower with sorting footage and such, but I will have to give it a try!

i use it the same way + a magnetic pad with bracket that sticks it on either side of the macbook screen, you should try so they both sit at the same height AND take less room on the desk!

This is my setup too! I prefer writing on an 11” but the 13” is a perfect compliment as second monitor on the go with a 14” MBP or 13” MBAir😃

Thanks for watching! I got the 13” 1tb 16gb ram version since I do 3D work as well! Didn’t go for the nano texture coating

Hey thanks for watching and the kind comments! I use the app NomadSculpt on the iPad! It’s available on android and iPhone as well. Truly an amazing app!

Your videos are really well made!!! You are gonna be huge one day!!! Your video style reminds me of vox, it is awesome! Apple says ipad can be used as a graphic tablet for mac using sidecar. So you can run your mac apps and use iPad as its graphic tablet. Can you test that? Wired sidecar and wireless sidecar...Maybe blender on ipad from mac using sidecar...Just a gentle request.
