Thank you for the review! I'm considering switching to digital notetaking, so learning about your experience with this tablet was very useful. I have a couple of questions - does the screen heat up noticeably while taking notes? Are you comfortable resting your palm on it while writing (especially for longer periods of time, like more than an hour or two)? Unfortunately, had this problem with another tablet, which made note taking with it really uncomfortable. Does the pencil ever lag or disconnect? Is it comfortable to write in a really fast pace?

For the matepad 11, the screen where you put your palm on while writing is cool and comfortable even using for a long period. However if you do notetaking while charging, the heat will build up on the lower part of the screen near the charging port, which is uncomfortable to write on. I bought a tablet cover with has multiple angle of folding so I can write with the angle I favor. The Huawei stylus pen has great connectivity (never disconnect on its own) and low delay while writing, I did hardly encounter some lagging while writing and I think it's not the pen's problem but it's the app that's lagging. Lastly cuz the low delay plus high refresh rate of the tablet, writing in fast pace has always been a nice experience.

@@ixMD yes. Even on that app itself, jnotes, you can open pdfs. I annotate my books there

does the palm rejection feature work properly?

I would say the palm rejection works exceptionally well in landscape mode but sometimes it does mistouch in portrait mode. Maybe it's software problem? I'm not sure yet

Hi there, as far as I know you need to install the Huawei device manager on your non-Huawei laptop in order to use the multi screen collaboration function. I have seen people achieved the multi screen collaboration on their non-Huawei Windows laptop, but I haven't saw any with Macbook so far.

Gracias por su apoyo y por su pregunta, hay aplicaciones llamadas nebo y calculadora de ecuaciones preinstaladas en el Matepad 11. En mi opinión, son muy útiles para escribir ecuaciones.

Does it have the features in ipad where it writes a straight line even if you made not straight

Yes, you could draw straight line easily with the shapes tool in Jnotes.

I think he/she meant to ask if you can draw a line without using shaped tool and it will automatically correct and be straight. Like if you draw an imperfect circle then automatically makes it s perfect circle.

I also tried Touchnotes and OneNote at first. Right now I only use Jnote cuz its functionality and design suits me better

Is it nebo better than jnotes?

I would say nebo has an unique interface (I like the preview page for every note in the menu) unlike other notetaking app, while Jnotes is more identical to Goodnotes on Ipad which is more subtle.

OneNote has a little more delay while writing but it won't affect your notetaking experience much

No, I don't use noteshelf. Until now I just stick with Jnotes for my study and notetaking
