Question aren’t you monetized already although you reach the 10k subscribers

You need 1k subs and 4k watch hours within 12 months to make monetization possible - then you need to create an Adsense account and link it to your channel which can take up to 1 month for the verification processes of each stage to go through - not always going to take that long but it is a YT listed caveat!

Exactly this. Also to get your channel monetized via KZbin Shorts you need 10 million views in a 90 day window. I was a Shorts Creator first but it's been proving impossible to hit those numbers hence the pivot to long form.

@@hercozygaming despite being an Instagram user and shorts watcher (from time to time) I find myself drawn to long form content as both a creator and viewer, I didnt realize it was only 90 days but I did see the number was outrageously high! Sensible to pivot in my opinion!
