This reminds me of Writing & Rhetoric curriculum from Classical Academic Press. I will be using that this coming year with one student and Writing With Skill level 1 for another student. Thanks for the in depth flip through and review!

I like it when a curriculum leaves wiggle room and we use the weeks as a guide and just carry on or break whenever we want to depending on what else we are doing. We have memory verses in gather round and I don’t expect them to remember and I find that they kno the verse very well and can paraphrase the bible verse.

Writing is our least favorite component of language arts too. We do however like our book we chose. But my daughter hates writing. She always picks the shortest sentences to write. I however, enjoyed the act of writing in general. I just loved the look of my own hand writing and it was fun to me to just write anything. I know I'm weird🤣. But the teachers would always comment me on my handwriting so I wasn't so full of it after all lol. They would say I have a teacher's handwriting. And wouldn't you know. Now I am one!

Hope loves learning cursive and has really nice printing as well, we just don't enjoy the putting down thoughts on paper.. 🤣🤣🤣
