@@Dverme doesnt make me a cyber know it all, i added that part to show the realistic side of working in the tech industry which you obviously are trying to break into. The way these titles are advertised are misleading, if he’s working 3-4 jobs at the same time then sure he can make 400k but people are reading titles like this thinking they can get certified and make this kinda money & that isnt realistic.

Hi! Do you have videos on how to progress as an IAM engineer? I just started an entry level position doing IAM with the DoD but want to know what else I can do to progress further in this specific field. Thank you!

We can make more videos on that we gotcha.

Very informative. my question is; how were you able to get multiple jobs at once. Did that affect your security clearance? How do you get past that problem if you're interested in having multiple jobs? Thanks!

@@MichaelDanquah-l9p Great question all of my jobs never had a non compete or anything and I’ve never had a security clearance since non of my roles are with any government agencies. I strictly only want private sec jobs. And most my jobs have been C2C or 1099. I have done a few w2 jobs as well though that don’t care if you have multiple jobs.

@@KLaw0how easy is it to find a private sector job. Is it by simply googling Private Sector Jobs online and you can find companies that way?

Can you do a video on how to get a secret clearance?

You can’t be overemployed with government clearance

Currently studying for Network+ and Security+ after that. What would you suggest as far as a next step? This is all new to me
@KLaw06 ай бұрын
Yes get your Security+ first then you need to work on getting some experience so try finding an entry level help desk role or a junior security analyst role. And move from that point on.

Kyle I’m entering my senior year of hs. I got cct and network + from my IT program in school so far and I’m testing for security + this year. I also plan on doing ap computer science. Do you think university is still necessary if I want to move up in the cybersecurity field and make 6 figures? Or would just community college be fine?
@KLaw06 ай бұрын
I would go through a 4-year university or maybe try something like WGU. At WGU you could do four years worth of schooling in 2 years. So I’d look into that if I was you.

Hey I have no degree and no cert, I’m very interested and want to get into cybersecurity. About to start school for graphic design, but I feel like that’s a waste and I can honestly learn from KZbin university

I would say stay the school party and maybe switch to computer science and figure out what you like first before you drop out. Always weigh your options and have a plan first.

Yo bro can you share your training resources for the PAM and Defender . Cause on the cyberArk site they have the free ones which are fundamentals but where did you look for to get more in depth
@KLaw06 ай бұрын
Yes I can find some old ones I use to use to send you. Also look into VM Labs for cyberark.

i'm not going to expose your hustle but if anyone is reading this just know that most channels that post stories like this are trying to sell you a program, an online school, or a course. I'll just leave it at that.

We do but it’s no scam over here and it’s no bs mentorship. Hence why we offer full refunds and money back guarantee if anyone feels it doesn’t work for them.

Landed a job as a NOC operator, handling a lot on the network side. Almost as a NOC analyst. I’m leaning towards the security lane of my journey. Making 20$ hr but the overall balance and workflow is a blessing, super hands on

Nice! Great job bro keep moving up. If you don’t have any certifications like I mentioned in the video go after some. Start with a Network+ or Cisco CCNA and get those under your belt. So when you do transition you’ll be ready to go.
