Today’s guest is New York Times bestselling author and real estate mogul, Grant Cardone! He owns and operates seven privately held companies, a private equity real estate firm with a multifamily portfolio of assets worth over $2 billion. He has earned the title of Top Crowdfunder in the world by raising over $500 million in equity via social media.
He is the New York Times bestselling author of 11 business books, including The 10X Rule, which led to the establishment of the 10X Global Movement and the 10X Growth Conference which is now the largest business and entrepreneur conference in the world. He’s written more than 20 of the world’s best-selling business courses, giving budding business leaders the tools they need to increase their income to astronomical levels.
I’m always so excited to have Grant on my show, and the wisdom that he shares is truly inspiring! He opened up in a big way and even shared some behind the scenes stories from his new show Undercover Billionaire Season 2 where Grant goes undercover with just $100 in his pockets to find out if he can start a business and grow it up to $1 million in just 90 days!
Friends, join me one Episode 1,069 to learn how to master money, excel at business negotiation, and build a billionaire mindset!

My words, when I threw 600 dollars into a patent aplication instead of lottery tickets (something I only do once or twice a year, just to keep the door open to mother faith - still waiting ma'am) and I got the patent - but lost it, when I didn't pay for years 4 and 5, because I died inside, when "the rest of my life" crubled around me.. Still I'm sure, it was the right decission to go for succes instead of after luck..

Having done retail sales where the company tries to make you this vacuum of customers money, even when they can't afford it and/or try to sleaze people into buying things they don't need, I VERy much appreciate this man's point of view of being upfront at the get-go. I've never been bad at sales. Always had higher numbers than most of my coworkers, with very low returns or complaints, and would always have repeat customers. And even then I STILL had managers and supervisors telling me I wasn't aggressive enough or didn't upsale properly to squeeze everything out of a customer. It's not about taking everything from them at that moment and making them have a negative mindset or second-guessing their purchase. I want you to be completely stoked and confident in whatever you buy from me and make you want to come back and look for me because you know I'm gonna get you what you need for the right price and eventually you won't question whether or not I'm here to fuck you over. Thank you for the reassurance that I don't have to be a scumbag to do a profitable business.

This is super inspiring! Tons of information and provides a different way of looking at things. Every person that explains how to make money talks about their success but something I appreciate about Grant is the fact that he takes ownership and explains his mistakes. Something I’ve realized that all winners have in common is TRUE SUCCESS COMES FROM FAILURE. If you’re too prideful to do something it will never work out. You have to take risks because everyone else is scared too take them. If you do what everyone else is doing you will be just like them, good or bad..

No. There's a very real danger that the things you own end up owning you. You have an opportunity for happiness now, regardless of what you're doing. It is your own choice, even if you are in extreme conditions and suffering greatly. Savor reality, no matter what form it takes, cherish it, love what you are, what your situation is, and those around you, and stop the many irrational fears that plague nearly every waking moment of your life. You'll be happy if you do this. But you won't. You'll come up with reasons why you don't want to, or "can't". That is, again, your choice...and that's fine. Everyone is perfectly free to be as miserable as they want to be.

I did sales for 4 years and was pretty amazing at the "hook", getting people interested in the first place and hear things out instead of telling you to kick rocks. I could even get what most in my line of sales called "The No Machine" interested, the Wife. The hardest part for me when I first started out was not saying too much, keeping things pretty simple, stating my price/offer and then learning to shut the hell UP! Let them think and wait for them to speak first. But the way your brain is wired when you say something and then there's "dead air"... every bone in your body is SCREAMING to say something because silence is so uncomfortably awkward.
