I must confess!! Out of all the nursing videos I have watched, this one beats them all!!😭OMG!! I honestly feel so inspired right now! Now this is my question, I did my health care assistant course, got my certificate but I'll like to do my LPN...so this is the thing, I didn't do science, biology or mathematics back in high school. Are these subjects compulsory??

Hello Abigail, Liked Your Video. My wife is planning for PRE REGISTRATION 2 year Msc Adult Nursing Course in UK. She has more than 1000 hrs of clinical nurse experience. The course has both theory and hospital Internship. So my question is after completing the course , can she apply for Registered Nurse after the course with NHS or she has to give OET, CBT and OSCE after passing the course to become RN and work for NHS Hospitals or she can become RN with NHS without these tests. Pls advice

Hi, if you dont mind me asking what did your role of a manager in the I.T project consist of, x
@thenurseabigail62344 жыл бұрын
Ayobami Adegbite Hi, not at all...I don’t mind. So the I.T. project was to get the entire hospital to go from paper documentation to electronic documentation as part of the global drive to go digital. My role included testing the that the electronic system was functioning properly (and highlighting any issues that required fixes from coding), creating/devising various lesson plans that would guide the training of staff in the hospital, running classes/sessions to teach and assess all staff on how to use the electronic system, auditing the process after rolling the project out, highlighting/fixing anything that needed to be fixed and providing support (including out of hours support) to all hospital staff after the system was rolled out because as you can imagine it required massive change management which was difficult but had to be done 🙂 that was the basics of my role as a manager in the I.T. Project. Hope that was helpful and answered your question? feel free to ask questions x

I love your videos🥰❤️. Please I have a question unrelated to this video, please pardon me. I studied Linguistics at my bachelor's and upon graduation, I got a job unrelated to my study. I work as more like a health care assistant at the hospital, been doing that for four years going in five. Now I intend to go for masters in UK, am confused as what to go for since my academic and work background are unrelated. I would want health care cos I never did anything on linguistics plus I love health now, but I don't know if I would be eligible cos of my degree, please advice me. 🥺

@thenurseabigail62344 жыл бұрын
Hi Beatrice, sorry for the delayed response. it took me the best part if 3 years and a lot of work to get my first managerial role. This was the stepping stone to move into other managerial roles. Hope that answers you question? xx

to make nurse manager in the nhs you focus on numbers only and don't give a monkeys about the patients and step on as many of your colleagues as possible. lesson don't trust your colleagues in the NHS
