So sick! That last 5 minutes gave me goose bumps! Best feeling in the world being the last 2 cars strapping in for the final!

Wasn’t sure if I wanted to add all that, but I’m with you, the atmosphere in a final like that is a feeling like nothing else! Felt like I should include it

Dont count yourself short. All have our opinions, but i am more interested in your vids then any others. Very well spoken, detailed. To be 100% transparent, i tried for the entire season. Your method of holding two no matter what and I did very well. I could go on and on but thats the thick of it. So i owe it to you and you sharing techniques on my great season. PS. Over 300 hundred runs this season, 4 finals, 4 semi appearances and a sh$& of rounds. So keep them vids comen Rock!! Thank You Much 🙏
@TheRockRacing Жыл бұрын
Wow!!! Congrats on your awesome season! Holding 2 two is a great way to race for sure. You can make lots of different moves all using the mph cone as reference. And it usually covers the reaction time too. Definitely one of the most touching comments I've gotten. I really appreciate it man. And keep running with what you've got going. Stick with it until you master it, and don't be afraid to put your own twists on things to make them more suitable to you. Thank you so much again!

@@TheRockRacing Rock, by the end of the season i dang well had it mastered. When i started this i told whomever i was doing a TT with to pay me no mind. I used EVERY TT and if i or my opponent turned it red, I practiced then too. I kept track/made notes. From day one of doing this ( i won 😉) i only was to the mat one time. It was a really damp air night and being on alky car was slowen up a touch each rd. Come finals I felt okay if need bee to keep it pinned. Came up deac 00, hut fot the L. My 29 at the hit wasnt beating his 7 total lol. But yes i so much as agree, it changed the look of the race no matter if ahead or behind on the tree. I have to say having a car that would go dead on flat out most of the time. Made this technique come together so well. I wanted to refer everyone to your page but i wasnt giving up all my awesome info to jus anyone lol. You had a vid on holding 2. Was my first vid i watched of you. Sense then i wstched everyone after and before. Keep them coming and hope to meet you someday! I race up in the Norteast. Lemme know if ur ever coming up this way.
@TheRockRacing Жыл бұрын
@@a.j.casper8873 Heck yea man! Not sure which video you saw first of me holding two. There’s a lot of them where I’m holding around two 😂 But it sounds like you’ve taken a few tips from the Top 10 Bracket Racing Tips video. Taking notes, writing everything down, using TT and red lights to experiment. I’m happy everything is going so well for you. I’d say keep the channel a secret 😂 Farthest I’ve ever been that direction is Indiana. Not sure when I’d come up that way, but I’m sure I will someday. Hope to meet you and I’ll see you in the final 👊

What's the red button on top of your stering wheel
@TheRockRacingАй бұрын
@@masonboulware7607 Bump down button. After you let go of the transbrake it allows you to subtract delay and take off sooner than you would have. Helps if you think you missed the tree

Awesome win and awesome video! I watched it all live as well. When i was watching it live you made it look easy. Now that I have seen the vid there is TON of stuff to do and think of before each round. Did you figure out why the car was stumbling? Fuel issue is my guess?? Thanks for all your hard work and time spent sharing your experience with us!
@onetallone412 жыл бұрын
Hi Rocky, I Just watched Gallstars channel and see where you said the tires were unloading and that was your issue with your hesitation. Let me tell you something I just found out after talking with one of the street outlaws who runs the npk races. Those guys are running low 4s and high 3s in the 1/8th. The slicks that those guys run are only good for 25 to 28 passes before this sidewall breaks down and their sixty foot goes away. HOLY Sh** I used to run a pair of slicks for a year and a half as long as the rubber still looked good. Now I realize I might have been spinning my wheels so to speak by using a pair that long. Just curious, How many passes do you get from a pair and do you rotate the slicks after so many passes?? thanks in advance for your time! Danny.
@TheRockRacing2 жыл бұрын
@@onetallone41 Yea there’s a ton of stuff I think about between each round. Too much for me to talk about in the video, maybe save that for other videos. But I think it’s worth it. Could’ve walked away from the log book many times that day but decided to put a little more thought into it. Haven’t 100% fixed the hesitation yet but yes we’re thinking a fuel issue. We did get new tires, those had 250 runs which is about how many we normally try to get out of them. As far as rotating, we don’t unless it’s an accident when we take them off to clean 😂 Thanks for supporting on the live stream and all of your support for me and Gallstar!

The amount of delay (time in seconds) that I have set in my delay box. So for example when I had 1.183 seconds in the box, the car will hold for 1.183 seconds after my hand releases from the transbrake before it launches.
