My top 5 Takeaways: 1. Figured out if your a morning/evening person - and work to your strengths 2. We often put little effort into endings, whilst they leave the biggest impressions 3. Use what would have been your commute time to shift between work and play 4. Work will fill the time you allocate it, so don't set distant deadlines 5. When you start to procrastinate, take a 60 second reset like looking out the window. Don't go straight for the Phone! Yet another top class video, thanks for sharing!!!

Love this video, Liam! I appreciate the time stamp guide, definitely going to be bookmarking this video so I can reference it again in the future. Improving my time management is one of my goals this year. I'm in the same boat where I overestimate the amount of time a task takes me. I also never knew about chronotypes so that was interesting to learn. Looking forward to reading the books you've mentioned in this video. My best to you and Beth! During my peak area, I will do my PhD research work and during my rebound area, that's when I do more creative tasks. For my research, I have to be extremely focused so I will do that at the start of the day. Once it comes afternoon, I am no longer very focused and that's when I do something that's kinda mindless like some art project!!!

@liam.porritt
@liam.porritt 3 жыл бұрын
Hey Daniel! Are you referring to the peak and rebound part at the start of this vid? If so, yeh - I think you're right that if we think of ourselves as night owls or early birds, that can definitely have a big impact on the way we experience our mood and energy levels throughout the day. I guess there could be kinda like a placebo effect if you THINK one time is your peak, but whether it's placebo or not, it's still happening and so you should still change the types of work you're doing throughout the day accordingly... if that makes sense!?
