I always enjoy your content, but there is one area where I disagree with your advice. You literally said that the one thing missing from her budget was giving and you were adding in the 10% for that and then in the moment your saying she had to cut out spending on Christmas gifts. In this case giving to her loved ones may be more important to her than giving to a church or random charity. I realize how good it feels to be able to donate to a cause important to your heart, but it's equally important to some people to participate in holiday traditions with family.

As a Christian, which Rachel boldly says she is, we are to give the first 10% to God, so I don't see Rachel ever leaving that out. To all the people saying 10% tithing is mandatory due to religious reasons, Rachel straight up said in one of the Dave Ramsey shows that if you don't have the money to tithe, then you don't have to and can always do it when you feel comfortable or have the money. I'm pretty sure all these youtube channels are technically still owned by the Ramsey business so I'm assuming she's just following whatever the culture of the company follows. Nix the giving and concentrate on giving to yourself to get out of debt. THEN be generous. She’ll be out of debt a lot faster, $310 x 12 is a LOT of money in this budget. I agree her side hustle is a bit low. 4 to 5 hrs a day on a 2nd job or for 20 hrs a week even Mcdonalds crew in my rural area get 12 an hour. After taxes thats like 850 to 1000 per month depending on how much your state taxes are (TN has no state taxes). The other option would be to push the wedding date out farther if possible to lower the amount shes having to save for it. Adding 600 just in side hustle even if she keeps xmas saving adding tithing/giving allows for an extra 190 a month. Obviously more money available if not giving or giving time instead of money. Lastly, she could go to a different gym instead of 170 a month for cross fit. planet finess is 10 a month. She can always do cross fit when the budget gets better.
