Gauging fire getting over vulpix is a great point, vulpix was def just a meta call no one was prepared for it seems

it's been super convenient to have Mew to look for items and be a sacrificial lamb for T2. what do you recommend leaving in the active spot at the end of T1, ideally? i'm thinking the new ideal board state might be Pidgey active, 2 Charmanders 1 Pidgey and 1 Rotom benched.

My big question is will it be worth to try cleffa over rotom V to fill the hand after turn 1 going 2nd. Much less utility going first, of course, but seems like it could be good.

I think Gouging Fire would help against mill and snorlax too. Even if the use the cape, charms and boosters, your koing them

Very interesting list. I'm waiting for the rotation to get a new charizard deck and I think I'll wait for your first tests before making the final leap! As you say, I think we will need to include countermeasures for Cinccino and those Vulpix that target Pokemon V (if you include Dolphox, Charizard has three in the deck!)

@@TheElite_TCG Because Azul is the no. 1 and definitely has a lot more experience than me. One thing I'm noticing though is that the Charizard Ex deck is gradually changing the way it plays. Now it works because it's really very simple to understand, I don't want the strategy to become too complex for what it needs to do!

Would Hands inclusion into zard would be a cope with Lugia, C Pau and bibs running around? Also play cape which could be used also on hands making it 330.

You would need to add a electric energy and use 60% of the energy in the deck. I doubt it's worth it
