I understand if you don't care for a particular fragrance (to me it's an ok fragrance) but that doesn't mean I'll diss the rest of fragrances from the list just because of one. Also, this is a video of cheapies so you can't expect the best of the best fragrances. Just throwing that out there but I respect your opinion.

Joop Homme Wild 20€ (75ml) Nikos Sculpture 17€ (30ml) Hugo Boss Extreme 32€ (60ml) Lacoste L1212 Blanc 22€ (50ml) Rochas Man 20€ (50ml) Leaves 14€ to save for the first designer price scent to add, if we have 125€ as our budget. If we take $125, it's almost on the dot since that would be about 112€ and all these scents combined cost around 110-111€. Took the cheapest prices from regular sites I could easily find in my country for orientation. Would be a solid, versatile, all year round set-up to start with in my opinion. The Joop for nights out and colder weather, Sculpture as the work/school scent, the Boss for casual wear, the Lacoste for summer time and the Rochas as something more extravagant. The one thing that's difficult to find in that price range is finding a true, proper date scent. But it'll work for the start.

I’m from Australia so there’s not really such a thing as a cheapie (Nautica Voyage for $20 sometimes but frags are generally on the expensive side) but 1 for summer? Blue Seduction Antonio Banderas. Saw Curly Scents youtuber channel hyping it and I got it 200ml for $40. Really nice cheap aquatic. It’s kind of a sweet aquatic with a touch of A & F First Instinct up top, really good

I think I'd go for something like Mancera Red Tobacco (not too hard to find around $85-$90) & Club De Nuit Sillage ($35). Maybe split Red Tobacco into something like 1 Million (~$60) & a 60mL of Explorer (~$40) which would go over slightly unless you get some good deals. Personally, I lean towards getting something I really love then filling out the rest with some solid scents instead of racking up cheapies that are decent but never my favorites. Slightly less versatile, but it covers cool & warm weather which is pretty much everything

I've seen Bentley for Men hyped before, and also the Intense version. What are the main differences and why would I choose one over the other? I'm going to get one of them soon.

The Intense is more leathery and a bit "balsamic" feeling in the dry down. The simple version is more rum, less dry, but at the end dry down it's dryer cinnamon. The Intense is more interesting. I bought the simple, thinking it's the same, but lighter, but I regret, that I not bought the Intense one.

@@BiggDaddy479 I agree I have a few decants of aventus. I also have CDNIM, and L'aventure because they were pretty cheap. I would say that CDNIM would compare to smoky batches of aventus and L'aventure is like the more fruity batches IMO. NEITHER one is really aventus spot on but I would say L'aventure is the closest from the opening to the dry down. CDNIM does have a really harsh opening to me and I don't like it, but after about 30 minutes it gets a lot better. They are good alternatives to the real thing if you don't want to spend the $$$ though. I should add that I am NOT a collector/ frag expert either. I actually only own about 20 bottles and have a bunch of decants and samples so take my opinion FWIW. :)

If I had to do it all over again, I would hunt for fragrances that I'm in love with and avoid blind buying. I have a ton of fragrances that I never wear and wish I could cash them in for something that resonates with me. I rotate about 30 that I really love and the rest collect dust.

Nautical Voyage has been reformulated and now it's literally garbage, it smells horrible and doesn't even last for an hour. Very misleading recommendation.

As someone who reviews fragrances and decide to recommend them, he should definitely know about that reformulation. I use my nautica voyage to remove marker spots. Also besides the Bentley, all the other recommendations are very bad. Some Zara fragrances are already waaay better and even cheaper than 75% of his list.
