I’ve just read F.Sheen’s autobiography and I don’t remember getting sooo much inspired! I laughed through tears and had a permanent impression that He was looking 👀 upon me and accompanying me during the lecture time. I had a similar experience while reading 📖 books of Italian humble priest Dolindo . God bless you

Thank you for uploading this reminder about the book. I planned to go to the St Paul Center website after hearing the interview on another KZbin channel, and of course forgot. I know it's a bad idea generally to make late night purchases, but I did anyway, only because I had already budgeted for it. I have prayed for Fr. Dave ever since the summer he was ordained, and celebrated his 2nd Mass at the parish I had just moved into. He had served at Holy Trinity as a seminarian, but I lived elsewhere during that time, so I only met him when he came as a newly ordained priest. He gave me a blessing that has stayed with me, and I have wrapped his intentions in my rosary beads and daily prayer box/morning offering through the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Entrusted to Our Lady's care as he is, I think she may have encouraged him to do this work in this time. May Our Blessed Mother wrap him in her mantle. May our Lord Jesus Christ guide and protect him from the snares and traps of the devil. 🌹🌹🌹🙏🏻✝️

This whole thing reminds me of a Chesterton quote that goes: "A thing as old as the Catholic Church has an accumulated armoury and treasury to choose from; it can pick and choose among the centuries and brings one age to the rescue of another. It can call in the old world to redress the balance of the new." -- The Catholic Church and Conversion I'm tickled by the fact that this witty quote is playing out right before my eyes. I owe Sheen and Chesterton my conversion so I'm very excited about all this! I'll be getting the Kindle edition when it comes out and fingers crossed it's not region locked in my country when it does.
