Shut up to all you non Christians who try to "expose" him just because he doesn't always talk about God or Jesus in his interviews. So what if he is a Christian who raps. There's no difference between a Christian rapper and a Christian who raps, they both use faith for music and all that. Just like there's no difference between a Christian band and Christians who are in a band, and the term Christian used in music just makes it seem more of genre than a religion.
@laurenjohnson39510 жыл бұрын
I love your comment. I always hate it when people use Christian as a descriptor in the music world. People get so weird about it! Personally, I wouldn't say that Lecrae is a Christian rapper. He's a rapper... who is also a Christian. Just like I'm student and a nanny who is also a Christian. If you feel the need to call him a Christian rapper, then do you also call people Christian plumbers and Christian electricians and Christian cashiers? Lol, it's so stupid and childish.

He's doing good for The Lord. God has enabled him to be this talented and his music is now very present in the industry. I wouldn't be surprised if thousands of people have given their lives to Jesus since Anomaly topped the charts. Praise God that He is reaching out to his creations before His son returns. He's so merciful and it's amazing to watch Him work through Lecrae's life. Be sure to keep Lecrae in our prayers. With all the extra attention, he's going to need to stay focused on Christ. God please be with Lecrae and don't let the fame get to him. Amen and amen

BOOM! *LECRAE* TO DA MIC! Ok, so i'm gonna get this out of the way, Lecrae IS a christian rapper to all who does not know already. this past week his new album anomaly (that i pre-ordered), hit #1 on the Itunes charts. his music is very entertaining to people who like the bass and tone of this pop culture we are all in! in his songs he talks about some of the biggest problems US as humans have, like greed, lust, addictions, etc. This is his *7th* album he has released, 2 of which are completely FREE to you at Rapzilla.com. if you love Jesus and love hip-hop, then PLEASE listen to this phenomenal rapper. Even if you are not a christian, i would encourage all of you to listen to his music, you never know, i might *change* your life like it did mine 3 years ago!

Lecrae brought something different to the table with Anomaly. He brought an album that mostly talked about him personally and his thoughts. I think This album was more of a reach to the secular crowd. Trip Lee is going for a different approach with his next album Rise that's geared towards Christians. This is a good thing!!!!

I'm gonna discredit Lecrae for what he has done but he is a very talented music , his music is for all to relate bit I have been very much up to date with his career, and to be honest he has more fame the. ever also his style of music has changed, it he has faith in God so let's live it at that and pray for him as a fellow brother in Christ, no one knows the amount of temptation he may go thru so let's support him 😋
@Ezra98c10 жыл бұрын
Here come the judgmental Christians we all know and love, just because he's not a small time rapper doesn't mean he's lost how faith, he's famous, yay... You can obviously tell he still hold faith in Christ, "nothing wrong with having it, go and get it. But if you find identity in then forget it."

once becoming a born again believer your passion leans towards praising God (Jesus Christ) and following his ways it doesn't take a whole lot to please God all he ask is for you to acknowledge the fact that Jesus is God love your neighbor as you do yourself and repent do a 180 when it comes to sin with a sincere and humble heart if you are a true believer and you don't even praise his name that much it should come to no surprise if people are a little skeptical on ones true motives behind certain things.
they gave him the least amount of expouser they could ;/

no Lecrae, i love all your gospel rap and how you always glorify our Lord and Savior on all your really good hip hop beats.
