Thanks for sharing such a personal story with us. ❤ As the animator of the film it makes me happy to see that it opens up dialogue like this. It's so important.

Thank you so much for stopping by and listening. The documentary was very inspiring for me and I'm happy to know the story of Ibelin. I appreciated your work as well. I was able to connect with with real people and their lives through how they were depicted in the game. It was really well done!

I really connected with your analogy of the river and feeling like you're on the side looking at other people jumping in and floating with the flow. For years I felt like this as well. Thank you for rhis video. You matter!

I first read about Ibelin in an article in a local magazine. I've never played on Argent Dawn, so I never knew or met Ibelin myself, and this article came out a few years after he died. Then I saw the Duchennes campaign on the WoW launcher, and saw the documentary on Netflix. This was a sad, but heartfelt story, and I really like the character animation and voice acting. They've clearly taken inspiration from WoW videos on KZbin, just like South Park did with their WoW episode.

I really connected with you and your story, even though we come from drastically different worlds. Your analogy of watching your friends surpass you at parties and gatherings is very reminiscent of my own life as a gay man who grew up in a small town in the Midwest and not being accepted. Sure, you can have those friends that talk to you in person, but won’t pay you the time of day outside of those school halls. You definitely gained a subscriber today, even though I’ve watched a few of your other videos, this is the one that earned it. Are you a guild master anywhere? I would consider joining lol
