How Important Are AI Managers in FM24?

Yes they do matter as it make some whacky results like David moise managing Poland and Antonio conte managing Crystal Palace. On my save in the Gibraltar league I have 3 former players in my staff Lee casacario my former ST, Bernardo lopes as DOF former CB and Ben ouannes a former LB who briefly had a role as player/head of youth development. Former players like Jaumpe and Yahaya have gone on to manage in the Spanish and Gibraltar leagues

True, it's always interesting to see where different managers end up in game. That's also really neat that you had a number of former players go into management!

one thing is that the teams have assistant managers, that can impact on the resuts

Good point, it would be interesting to see what affect assistant managers have on the style of play of clubs with AI managers.

I usually play DOF, go holiday and let assistant manager play with his tactic. AM need attacking mentality to win game. At least is balanced. Very difficult to win game with cautious, very cautious. Imo manager only need 2 important attributes is motivating and tactical knowledge.

Sounds like a fun way to play the game, very reminiscent of the Clayts DOF saves from the past couple of years or so.

Big Ange tactic style in fm24 is meta. I watched a lot others fm24 youtubers like omega luke rebuild. Spurs always win the league, maybe not first season.

Interesting, generally when I see it in other games or on sims I find it to be a mixed bag, either Spurs are in the Champions League or they end up being a mid-table side. Ange does seem to have a good career in FM24 though and I'm a fan of his style so I think it's nice to see.

City never does well in the first season for me, and Pep always gets sacked half way through the season.

Genuinely that's a really interesting result, in most of my sims it's almost always City dominating the league for the first 3 years. Cool to hear about a save where that doesn't happen.
