I am from England, and i remember the first season when T20 cricket was invented in England, batters had to RUN to the wicket, no innings were allowed to last more than 1 hour, the idea being, to move the game faster, so you had batters sitting in baseball style dugouts, fireworks, dancing girls.....it has changed, innings go for 2 hours now....but I loved watching the first season of T20 in England, it was a chance for families in the evening to go down and watch some cricket and not taken too seriously, an opportunity for cricketers to have fun and hit plenty of 6's, lots of music and beer.
