How India is catalysing growth through Digital Public Goods

With a significant mobile user base and deep internet penetration, India leads the world in being one of the largest digital economies. It also has the richest and the most diverse data set in the world. Thus, India is at the forefront of the digital revolution with immense potential for public-private partnerships in building a robust Digital Public Infrastructure for India's development. Great content but can be presented better. 1. The introduction can be shortened. 2. Show name/positon of speaker/guest. 3. Don't scroll messages at the bottom. It is a distraction at the least. 4. Don't simply read out what's written. Make it more natural. 5. Do an audio test before starting. Use a better microphone if necessary.

I am amazed to see that even small roadside vendors use UPI. Usage of UPI by everyone including very small shops is humongous. This usage of UPI and other digital services by common man will change India very rapidly in a couple of years and India would be completely transformed in a decade.

The work done in digital public infrastructure is truly remarkable but tech can provide platforms. A swiggy or zomato is fantastic but operationally non profitable. The food behind the app is getting worse with horrible cloud kitchen. You cannot have consumption led growth in an open economy. Local industries will suffer and cant compete. We are basically an economic colony of usa. I might be wrong but if you think so pls point out how
