If even after signing standstill agreement with J&K Pak attacked J&K & tried to forcefully change the status quo, then the British had to be involved in someway or the other. But it's in the past now, currently if this issue is still going then it's because of both Pakistan & India and current day British have nothing to do with it as British parliament & their govt. legally accepts the whole of J&K as part of India (which includes Pakistan occupied J&K & Pakistan occupied Gilgit Baltistan).

Agree with all points. However, saying that - India has very large coast line - is not true, compared to many other nations. The benefit to India was that it has all types of protection which a nation would like to have - dense forest, a desert, an ocean and mountains. At middle and south, there is Arabian sea, Indian ocean and Bay of Bengal. As the technology using which traveling with big army to long distance was not available, no one was able to attack from these sides. There are very dense forest at east. So attacking from this side was also impossible. (Remember Japan's attack on Brithsh empire in affiliation with Subhash Chandra Bose? Japan's army was not able to cross the dense forest of east to reach in Bengal to conquer the Britishers.) There is Himalay at north. The sky touching mountains and cold-dry weather protected India. And there is desert of Kachchh (Kutch) at west. The dry desert also protected India. These all kept India protected for many centuries. There is only one minor gape in west - the Punjab region. Almost all outsiders have came to India from this direction.

However, not just Sindh, if we consider Mourya Empire (around 250 BCE) and a part (around the year 1840) of British rule as India then northern-western region of current Afghanistan was also within India's border.

i believe the thar desert is not exactly the the weak point we think it is because if its difficult for us who control the thar desert then it is going to be much more of a problem for an invading army even if it capture the thar and since there is no proper infrastructure as you say then gaining thar will make very little gains in real terms as the invading army will have difficulty with mobility and logistics . And as an example to my explanation i give you the suggestion to check previous indo-pak wars when the indian army was successfullly able not only to enter pakistan but reach very close to lahore . And Pak army could not break in India through the thar desert.

I like you're videos but I differ on your china viewpoint. Yes the language is very different but Ancient china to an extent rural China today shars many cultural belifes with India.
