When the ultra rich get their hands in so many industries that the govt has no choice but to support them that is begging for a potential collapse should that company fall. On top of that when said companies/billionaires have that much influence it makes it impossible for smaller companies to get their foot in the door because of corruption. It is the prime reason why Teddy Roosevelt broke up the oil baron monopolies during his administration because they were so rich they literally gave the US govt a bailout.

I work in contracts & procurement department of a PSU. "Contracts being rewritten", it's a buzz created by Indian left parties & left media. Sadly this is what Western media wants to hear. Many people think we favour 'xyz' person or company. The truth is after Modi Govt, all our transactions are done via GeM portal, which has drastically simplified & digitised our transactions end to end. From tender, bidding, awarding to payment, everything is via transperant mechanism with little human interference. Secondly, we also have an integrity pact. In case of non selection, we need to provide the reasons of rejection & detailed disclosures of what the 'selected party' offered. Seriously this report makes me laugh & also surprising that these reporters are claiming to be 'experts'.

Guess what they only did a bit just now, when 2 USA golfer left and joined Saudi gang. And their researched bit was laughable completely. Just like how NEW YORK TIMES AND WASHINGRON POST are running agenda news. And most these "so called journalist", just take their bites from social media, no research and background detailing. It's just sooooo bad. This bit made me feel like it was intentional to show Indian pm and adani in poor light. It's not about him being an Indian. It's about how he accumulated that wealth. Most of the other billionaires on the list actually developed some new innovative technology that helped the world - such as Gates, Bezos, Musk, Jobs. Adani's conglomerate consists of old school industries much of which he expanded by receiving free land, resources, tax incentives, contracts from the government. There's not really anything special or extraordinary or inspirational about that. Besides, in the countries that these other billionaires experienced success, the populations also prospered. In India, the quality of life for middle and lower middle class and those below has diminished as many of these billionaires engaged in manufacturing, energy, mining do not adhere to CSG norms, polluting the environment and water. Many of these billionaires' families and children spend most of their time overseas, so they don't even care what happens to the environment in India, as long as they can profit from the use of the land.

Go ask your mom does she buys FORTUNE. and you eat all the poori and other things, somewhere you are adani consumer, he owns the fortune brand. He has a habit of giving a product offering without his name moron. Because he wants product to be its own brand not to be named by him. Same here in USA, NEW ZEALNAD AND AUSTRALIA. Guess what the special economic zones under phase 3 that he delivered to government, has now exported iPhone upward of 1.4 billion dollar. If that doesn't help your own stereotypical behaviour nothing can. Most if all CNBC didn't provide any information but just kept bickering the same thing that many so called "elitist liberal", say against India. It's not new from. NEW YORK TIMES TO WASHUNGRON POST. the ease of business for India firms and even the foreign firm and low level of corruption has caused the manufacturing to grow and having ahard earned billionaire that they can't digest. So they just made the video about him in poor taste and the young generation like our suddenly forgot how to use Google and read more. The do provide their profit and loss and asset holding and money revenues every quarter like any other firm in India. Don't be a moron and read and make your own opinion. His ADANI FOUNDATION has changed the forest cover across the western ghats and watershed programs puts water inost arid area, that's why Gujarat most tribal area also has greenery which was like never before. But nai if it's musk... He amassed wealth by himself. But guess what Sherlock he comes from family of billionaire. His grandfather and father already were super rich. But if our own does it, we will burn ours with own agenda but not prosperity. Even in this time adani hasn't laid off employees, while reliance took off people from payroll in Covid times, adani and Tata didn't. That says something. No disrespect to reliance. What the have achieved, we with our bickering wouldn't get their to a slight distance. Shameful.

That's wonderful, it's great to see other people who trade with Ms. Gwyneth Paltrow, I am currently on my 8th trade with her and my portfolio has increased tremendously.

Adani is an example of Rise of Oligarchs in india and government encouraging Crony Capitalism. Reliance Jio is another example which captured Telecom market and bought out rest of the market players by getting spectrum license for a cheap price since he a friend of modi😂

Yet, you are using Jio to type this comment. I remember Airtel, BSNL & Vodafone ripping us for 100 MB data per day & having to pay for talk time. Now talk time is free & i only have to pay 9 ₹ per GB.
