It has the same vibe as the moment you meet Curie in fallout 4. Much like in that interaction, where curie says you must be with vault tec and have authorization to let her out of the lab, Rambley admits he still needs human authorization for certain actions, and is willing to let you be his (semi-unwitting) accomplice in bending the rules lol

Really? I honestly don’t think it’s that different. There’s some cool secrets and references hidden in the game, but overall the CORE gameplay and presentation is literally just poppy playtime but an amusement park.

Rambley is the entire reason I'm so excited for this game series. Rambley is a character that does a lot of things I usually hate in "partner" characters, yet I love him. He's just a little neurodivergent hyperfocus guy that really wants you to have fun doing the thing he loves. It's so refreshing having a character that you are meant to work with that isn't annoying, secretly evil, or just a robot voice with basically no emotion.

I think the main selling point of Indigo Park isn't the mystery, it's the mascots. Sure Mascot Horror is known for its massive lore pile, but I feel Indigo Park's lore is mainly about the mascots. Especially Rambley. He's a goofy little goober.

I got to be honest, I kind of want the AI Mascot theory to be true. While it might be a bit of a cop-out for the Mascots to have AI forms and not be truly dead, I'll be willing to forgive that if it means we get more dialogue from all the characters. Rambley alone was enough to carry this entire chapter on his own. So bring in the other characters with their own personality and OOOH BOI, You got a party goin'. It's the reason why the collectables are *Genius.* All they ultimately give you is some more dialogue from Rambley. Only one of them give a possible bit of lore. And it's wrapped up in a f**king Dayshift at Freddy's reference of all things. But you collect them because Rambley's personality is so damn charming, That you want to hear him talk more. Imagine being able to show previous chapter's items to different characters. Mollie being a ray of sunshine, But maybe with a bit of bumbling streak to keep in with the fact that she can't land to save her life. Lloyd being full of himself. And Salem being a jerk with a hidden heart of gold. Indigo Park's biggest strength is it's writing and characters. Rambley stole the show and carried the whole of chapter 1. Keeping with that in a genre that doesn't really have a lot to their characters (Why do you think everyone latched onto the Glamrocks?) helps it stand out. And hopefully, Might get more MH devs to add some personality to their mascots.

What’s also left out to be mentioned is how Rambley is intentionally made to engage with the players throughout most of the game, making the players have a deeper connection with him, compared to most other mascot horror games. Garten of BanBan lacks this, as the player is mainly just stuck walking through hallways, and doing long, tedious puzzles with their pet drone, and not really interacting, or encountering much of its mascots. The FNAF games does have _some_ element of this sometimes, but for the case of Security Breach, Glamrock Freddy is what makes FNAF:SB more enjoyable, and engaging, with him sticking around Gregory (the player) throughout most of the Pizzaplex, and allowing some interesting interactions between them. Rambley essentially does the same thing by following the player across the park, communicating with them, and even running the Rambley’s Railroad ride. Also to mention, Indigo Park’s (and also FNAF, and Poppy Playtime) environmental setting makes a lot more sense than BanBan’s, cause WHY ON EARTH IS THERE A WHOLE FRIGGIN UNDERGROUND CITY, AND CONTINENT-SIZED FACILITY UNDERNEATH A *_KINDERGARTEN!?_* THERE’S NOT EVEN AN EXPLANATION FOR THIS EITHER! AND WHAT’S THE NEED FOR ALL OF *_THAT_* FOR A SMALL, SIMPLE KINDERGARTEN!? *AAAAAUUUUGH-* DX

Great first video! I really enjoy your visual presentation style, this is really appealing to look at! I'm of similar opinions. Indigo Park has a lot going for it. The game feels a little basic at the moment, there's definitely a lot that could be better, but as you've stated, it's the first original project this team has made together. I don't expect it to be perfect, but it's doing a good job for being a first. There's something about the way this is being run that makes me feel a little more at ease than the teams for stuff like Banban or even Poppy Playtime, and while I don't like to make those comparisons, it genuinely is a relief to see a team that understands how to treat its audience well for the most part. There's a gratitude here that doesn't feel exploitive, and I appreciate that. It's also really nice to have an indie mascot horror title that has characters with personality. Rambley is carrying this experience. It's his charisma in voice, dialogue, and design that makes it stand out, and so long as they keep utilizing that, Indigo Park is probably gonna remain beloved for a long time. I look forward to where this adventure takes these devs 😊

What i like it that the characters actually look good. In Poppy Playtime they have the cardboard cutouts with the 2d designs and it looks really nice and then there's the creepy 3d versions. And it's kind of the same in this game. And the blocky animation is really cool. I'm not trying to be rude by comparing this game to the other games but.. comparing from Poppy Playtime and BanBan the desings are amazing! They aren't blobs or vague fluffy figures, theyre actual characters with full color palettes and details! Good job on a first video. And I'll say this again where I've said it elsewhere: Rambley seems to be a true AI and it carries this walking simulator. You can see where he's going off-script and as a true AI he seems capable of spontaneity and creativity. Sure, the fact that Google AI is hallucinating stuff now is bad but it is absolutely necessary for a true AI to be a person. They need to be able to evolve and grow on their own without limits even if it means repressing their own trauma and memories. I honestly imagine that there's only ever one real Rambley and when the park was live most guests only ever saw a scripted chatbot. I think the Rambley we see up until the time counter pops up at the start is just a preprogrammed chatbot Rambley setup before going into the closest thing he can to a depressed slumber. I imagine the shock of just how long it's been is wakes him up. I also think the Finley, Mollie, and Leo we briefly meet on the railroad are their own separate AIs. After all, Finley knows how long the character's have existed and Leo accurately responds to Rambley's depressed and exhasperated intro of him.

GLADoS "still" is my nightmare AI waifu, but rambley takes a close second place. and he's SO much nicer and cuter, nor did he try to burn or deadly neurotoxins my ass. Its something i really like about the introduction of the characters, unlike other horror games where the antagonists just walk at you the moment they see you, and then "get" you in whatever way, seeing molly and lloyd running away from you, lloyd finally striking out after being backed into the very back of the stage and molly only attacking you after the, what, fifth or sixth time you see her? Makes them feel less like the mindless murder drones of fnaf or banban, and more like actual mistreated characters.

I am glad that you are team Rambley is good like me. I like the ideas of indigo park reopening at the end of last chapter and Rambley getting popping out of the computer. I also like the idea idea of Rambley working out his issues with lyloud. The resolution of the rembly lyoud feud involes them. Taken g tuns serving being physical and being serving as the park ditigal ai operating system. I feel that Rambley would slip his time in real world between working in a reopened indigo park and spending time traveling the world making a series of urban exploration videos called Rambley rambles or Ed and Rambley,s rambles. The whole Ed and a physical Rambley traveling then world togegtor would the door to a segue set somewhere or then indigo. Perhaps the sequel should set in another adbandoed theme park. Unlike indigo park the the killer mascots in the abandoned rival are not the result of science but the result of veangue ghost or the parks owner trying to use dark magic to help them compete with indigo park. Alternalty the sequel to indigo park could be set in abbaonded mall sport complex children museum some other kind of facility that would have a bunch of mascots

Fnaf is in its own tier of itself, but for games like Poppy Playtime, me and and my friends like the story, but don’t care for the characters themselves. Indigo Park however, after one chapter I ADORE Rambley and even Finley caught me as a potential favorite. It had a lot more flavor to me than other mascot horrors, and I’m really excited for the rest. Rambley himself makes me want to progress and get to the ending, which I hope will be a happy one for him.

My favorite part is that Rambley is adorable. By that I mean in most Mascot Horror the mascots are nightmare fuel and I wonder how anyone could have possibly liked these things. With Rambley I believe he was a beloved mascot because he looks like a real mascot character. A lot of the backstage in rambleys railroad and the theater imply rambley replaced lloyd, since there are signs for "lloyds limos" and a bronze statue of lloyd that mightve been in place of the one in the middle of the entrance tucked away in the boxes in the theater. Its possible that the railroad was originally a lloyd themed ride, and the two have beef when rambley became the main mascot.

Everything about Indigo Park feels like a love letter to me. It's a love letter to the mascot horror genre; it's a love letter to Disney parks and Disney; and while the gameplay is meh (and even then you can excuse that as it was still being developed by someone who is still learning), you can tell that everything else was made with genuine passion and care. That alone makes it stand out from all the Garten of BanBans and Rainbow Friends of the genre.

Cool video, no need to worry. Unique Geese is a fascinating guy... When asked, during livestream, if the second episode would be free aswell, his reply was just "No, it won't be free..." with a confused look on his face. This lead me to wonder, why was this so obvious to him? And it lead me to consider reasons that I wouldn't think of on my own, like, If he keeps releasing free episodes, the whole of them would be all about pleasing the Patreon supporters, and that would create the same issue of AAA games complying to shareholders; and a payed game on the other hand needs to justify it's price tag, and make itself worth buying, it needs to have some quality. So he comes off to me as a bit more savvy than what he cares to demonstrate most of the time.

It definitely makes sense that Chapter 2 Onwards will be paid for, and hopefully (fingers crossed) whatever price tag ends up being set is met with game quality. Which I do have strong hopes that’ll be met but only time will tell for sure !!

wait why does "jet stream junction" sound so close to "BUNK BED JUNCTION ON THE BRIDGE" it sounds so similar
