I don’t understand how people try to bring down people like Colin who is simply a humble and walking inspirational character!

Yes. I suspect it has to do with the NatGeo and journalist unscruptuously capitalizing on someone else's accomplishment. It's so disheartening that absolutely no media can be trusted anymore and it all comes down to greed. It's very, very small of Nat Geo. Imagine Nat Geo in the business of crushing dreams. Viscerally untenable. Will never ever trust Nat Geo again.

Loved listening to this, Colin. It brought back some amazing memories and emotions. Feel privileged to have shared that experience and get to know you so well, especially as we got deeper into the expedition. Keep inspiring others and being you. Can’t wait till our paths cross again!

Really enjoy your interviewing style and the selection of your guests, very inspiring. Unfortunately I don't have always time to watch a video which is more than an hour long. Is there any way you can summarize the major insights from your interviews (maybe in in a format similar to a Blink)? Thanks

you can listen to the podcast on Spotify as well. i think its really important to listen to the whole story and not just the insights somebody else saw in the talk. Because there will always be something you connect with that this person will miss.

Colin O’Brady, you’re an incredible, inspiring human being. It’s a shame there are people like Aaron Teasdale out there and very disappointing that National Geographic would publish this article without a formal interview with you.

It's a shame that people like you believe everything they're spoon fed by people with no commitment to telling the truth. I interviewed Colin three times. He eventually refused to respond to my repeated requests for additional interviews after I started asking hard questions. He's lying to you. Maybe you should do even a modicum of research before publicly calling people out, Jake. www.newswire.com/news/polar-exploration-community-declares-support-for-national-geographic-21104625

@@digaaron You have been exposed as a complete hack. It's embarrassing to see you try and defend yourself in the KZbin comments. Any journalist of integrity or high standard would not be so pathetic as to waste their time on youtube comments, but perhaps now that you have been exposed as a terrible journalist no one will hire you so your spend your time instead trolling on the internet....SAD! Clearly you are a sad pathetic human and your actions here, as well as your actions you took in not formally interviewing Colin and your blatant omissions in your article prove the same point as Rich Roll and Joe Rogan have realized in looking at the full picture, your article was fake news trash. You should be ashamed. I hope no reputable news outlet ever makes the mistake of hiring you again.

@@jakejones2643 Ha ha, is that you Colin? Or just one of your PR people? Yeah, I actually stand up for myself and for the integrity of my work. Weird, huh? But this isn’t about me, it’s about the truth. I’m just the messenger. If you actually aren’t Colin or his PR team and you have a problem with my deeply reported article then I suggest you take it up with the many polar experts quoted extensively throughout it. As for Colin, he just lied his way through this interview with abandon. For the rest of you, you deserve heroes who tell the truth. This guy ain’t it.

@@digaaron I don't believe you. I believe you were out for opportunistic cash capitalizing on someone else's success. And no I'm not a Colin pr team person. That's a pathetic egotistical notion. I'm just a 61year old lady who has made sure my elderly parents did not renew their subscription to Nat Geo. The world does not need more negativity published simply for monetary gain. Totally transparent. The guy came back with a respectful response and yours here is immediate snark to an anonymous you tuber comment. It's telling.

@@janefreeman4121 Such a shame. You know how Trump has convinced his followers NY Times is fake news even though it's one of the finest journalistic institutions in the world? That's precisely what's happening here. When the truth no longer has meaning, societies crumble. Colin told so many lies in the few minutes of this interview I could stomach watching it was painful. Ask yourself why every polar explorer of note from the past 40 years signed that linked declaration of support for the article. I'm sorry you're being fooled. Nat Geo is not the problem here.
