Everybody says I'm a failure, I've started to believe it. But I'm also a coward so unable to take my life. And God is too ignorant or sadistic to gift it to me.

1:07:50 what if you are unremarkable at absolutely everything you do. If you're a man without a "talent"? Does a pathway to a reasonable life exist in this competitive economy? What if you're not good enough to overcome this through the brute force approach of hard work alone? What if you refuse to accept this?

He's good at identifying problems... but he doesn't see that many leftwing political policies are at the heart of the decline in young men. He also really lost me at "BLM and Me Too are righteous movements". An organization that embezzled 10s of millions and perpetrated hugely expensive and violent protests is not righteous...even if you do believe that police indiscriminately kill people of color at disproportionate rates. And Me Too was an hysterical moral panic predicated on the lie that rape and harassment are out of control systemic issues perpetrated by most men. They're not righteous movements they're left wing conspiracy theories

An excellent beginning of how mansculinity has a BAD RAP in today's society. Hell our male identity which has existed for more than 2000 years wes being protective, providing and be the last word in the house, but today, all three have been stripped from our existance in hearing a new narrative "we don' t need men today" which is a TRAGEDY; this is the first time in our existance that men have NO IDENTITY being offered, or worst yet, the three that have existed since timbucktoo are not being acknowledge today and NOONE is speaking about this change of paradyme of what it means to be a MAN. This is truly a TRAGEDY since millions of men are walking around not feeling good about themselves (actually they are NOT EVEN conscientious of losing their IDENTITY of being a Man which their father, grandfather and great grandfather all celebrated). yet they still walk around not having much ambition.... In fact, the way the world in North America is looking at men does not even admit their suffering ; we men have become the "forgotten SEX" or at least it how if FEELS....

As I was listening to this on 4/25/3024 and I gotta call from Anchorage Alaska P.D. My brother's body was found under a bridge. He was a lost soul, alcoholic, homeless, in and out of jail, baby mommas all over the place. Our dad was around did the best he knew how. He was the guy they are talking about, just no direction, no purpose. I don't know if society could have changed him but maybe.

Starting men a year late for school is the worst possible idea. Can SG make this comment about any other demographic.?? Say people of color. he would be canceled in a heartbeat. S It is a formalization of the the idea that men are defective. S G is not a friend of men. He is a DEI trojan horse that seeks to relegate men to second class citizens.
@vira1340
@vira1340 10 сағат бұрын
Saying men are less mature is simply SG's way of putting the blame on men. I double dare SG to make the same statement about any other demographic say people of color. without getting canceled. We have made it legitimate and laudable to humiliate men and SG is no exception. Also maturity is such an vague concept. It is not like weight which can be measured. But he throws it in portray men as naturally defective and then well you can they bought it upon themselves, and we don't need to look at the systematic discrimination that men suffer. SG is not a friend of men. He is a feminist trojan horse who is trying to delegitimize men's issues
@vira1340
@vira1340 10 сағат бұрын
SG does not deserve any respect from men. He is not their friend. He is dyed in the wool feminist. He consistently tries to build the narrative of the manosphere as misogynistic . It is his subtle way of delegitimizing male issues. He tries to create a false equivalence between the corporate and Government supported systemic discrimination against men with the misogynistic comments of a few lone private individuals. A typical tactic of feminist simps.

I agree to be responsible and engaged in our health... its our own lives after all... I used be told it was bad to seek my own information (at first in case it was something easily to remedy myself ?)... rather than seek a "pill" (usually with some side effects) from the doctor.

Specialty programs are THE solution. In politics you learn that all wars are fought for economic reasons. Sure we’re told it’s for freedom etc but it’s BS Similarly all lives start with your economic base otherwise you are simply not yourself. When you have to constantly worry about whether or not you can afford to even live a safe life under a roof , etc. You can’t think about anything else. Obsession is to put it mildly and even when you’re not specifically focused on it, it’s there. It permeates every part of you. You’re a little edgy, over eager when opportunities do present themselves. On and on it just makes you uncomfortable and it’s nearly impossible to attract anything positive in that state. Everyone who is already successful seems to get their memory wiped if they were ever not successful before. Like they’ve completely forgotten and therefore they expect you to act and respond to them as a wealthy person would. It’s bullshit. We see the studies that endlessly prove wealthy people VASTLY over estimate their role in their own success. Prof G is one of the rare people you will ever hear admit these things. It’s because he hasn’t forgotten the other side Don’t get me wrong I understand the desire to forget. However we must not allow ourselves to do so. We need to exponentially crank up the humility meter in our society and start forcing people to pay for what they use. When an entrepreneur takes public IP and turns it into billions they pay nothing. No no that’s f’in nonsense and has to go. We shouldn’t have to beg for basic income we should all be getting a basic dividend payment for all of the assets our forefathers and our own money has created that enables this success. And no you don’t deserve billions if you don’t pay for what you use. Don’t tell me people would stop building if they could only get $10 instead of $100 billion for their efforts. They will and we’ll all be better off because they can have some gratitude and humility for those who enabled and enable daily, their success. We do this and the AI jobless shit will be solved easily because no matter who creates the AGI that changes everything, we ALL across the world. Deserve a piece of it and some access to it. Except China. F China. lol

I cannot take someone seriously when they flagrantly avoid discussing a full half of the problem. In this case that problem is women's sprinkle sprinkle style unrealistic expectations and demands being placed on men. Women are responsible for disenfranchising young men to the point they have given up wholesale any hope of being accepted by these modern women. To wit, are Gen Z and younger millennial women need to have a society-wide attitude check and be called to task to open their minds and be accepting of men who they have economically outpaced. Yeah sure we should get guys leveling up too but this is a zero-sum game. There's only so much money to go around and right now women control it so if they want men to be economically viable they are going to have to be willing to give up some of their own wealth across society.

That 'lack' of empathy for men is fueled by social media narcissism which largely targets female populations. This is one of many reasons that there is a big divide in dating and relationships. The politics of this travesty have invaded everything.

The things that hold the most weight in life are not readily acknowledged as such. I think a lot of us struggle with meaning and purpose. We've been told and shown what should drive us, but it often doesn't, not enough. And to recognize what does or would drive us requires a deeper look into ourselves. Which is very difficult today when what truly means the most to us is buried under mountains of distractions, so we aren't even aware of it. It's like a solar panel sitting in a cave thinking its power will come from in there, never understanding that what it seeks and needs is just on the other side of the dirt.

Excellent show. What you describe in the first 20 minutes is the result/consequence of white supremacist attitudes and policies. It worked well for you, but since the civil rights movement, white males have to compete. It's not enough just to be white. Also, out-of-wedlock births black and white set up young men for disaster in this dog eat dog, capitalist society. You're right about needing more mentors but we also need women to be more responsible about when, with whom, and under what circumstances they give birth and attempt to rear healthy young men.
