I'm Malaysian Peranakan ethnic minority, i visited Tibet before and it is amazing, its so modern, cultural and beautiful. The people are so kind and they helped me throughout my trip. I learned how to converse in basic Tibetan, currently i am studying tibetan from Chinese tibetan teachers, i can speak a little tibetan but still trying to read tibetan script, i can write the script fluently. Its easy to learn tibetan since the Tibetans in China can speak mandarin fluently. I know how to speak and understand Malay, English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien, Teochew, Baba Hokkien. Currently learning French, Korean, and Tamil language. I also am learning Mongolian, Tibetan, Nuosu, Manchu, Hmong, and Dong languages from mainland Chinese. Thanks to the Chinese government, the tibetan serfs are freed from their masters in 1950. USA recognised tibet as part of China during nationalist China period, but when the communist took over, the US immediately claimed that inner mongolia, Tibet, and Xinjiang are not part of China, clearly a hate for communism. UK once organised a massacre on the Tibetans as well. Today, many ethnic schools are built to preserve cultures and languages, my High school once went to inner Mongolia to train for traditional Chinese dance competition, they performed traditional mongolian chopstick dance, they won gold in China representing Malaysia. These ethnic schools are dual language education, allowing all ethnicities to learn and help locals to understand the national language so job opportunities increase. The Chinese government successfully developed phonetic alphabet for 10 ethnic languages with no written form, which is why i am able to learn the Miao and Dong languages. Most of Asia now see Chinese education certificates better than western, many of my friends study in China, some moved there too. Thank you China for helping the ethnic minorities in need and preserving their cultures.

Many ethnic groups became civilised during the communist rule, most of the ethnic groups are still in a feudal tribal society during the nationalist era. Tibetan serfdom has been around for centuries, it was the communist who ended serfdom, confiscated aristocratic territories and giving it away to tibetan serfs. The communist also ended human sacrificial rituals in Tibet, if you do follow auction relics in the west, you can find some relics that are from tibet, taken by the British, such as Human thighbone trumpet and human Skull drum. One of the famous human instruments in Tibet is the sister drum, which the government banned the tibetan monks for recreating it. The sister drums are made out of human skin, especially young female skin, average Tibetan age is 37 years before 1950, so young girls at the age of 12 are used to make instruments. The skull drum which you can find in a museum in Tibet is made out of both male and female skulls ages ranging from 12 to 20. One famous prison in Tibet is Shol prison, now a museum, it is managed by a descendant of a serf in tibet. The tools found in the prison were on display with information on how these tools were used for torture. The life like wax figures used to demosntrate the torture process is very horrific, mainly tongue ripping and eye removal. Today, foreign tibetans don't even know the real name of tibet, which is Bod. The tibetans in China call tibet Bod in their native language and Xizang in Mandarin. Xizang is actually not the original Chinese name because part of tibet was absorbed by India, so it can no longer be called by its original Chinese name as it makes no sense. I watched Tibetans protesting in France, the tiebtan lady literally said " We don't want to be called by our false name, Xizang. We want to be called by our real name, Tibet," i couldn't help but laugh since Tibet is a name given by the colonist, even I as a Malaysian know the real name of tibet, what a shame. The Yi ethnic group used to practice the Caste system, where the nobility is called Black Yi, villagers are called White Yi, the bottom 2 classes of Yi are slaves and serfs. The Yi people are known for capturing neighbouring Miao people and turn them into slaves. The Nationalist Army have a hard time with the Yi tribes as they are very aggressive and territorial. However, the Communist red army general went to confront the Yi tribes. The chieftain made a deal with the communist and became allies, thats why the Communist can defeat the Nationalists because the Yi opened up passage and protected the communist, allowing them to reach territories faster. The communist government then banned Yi caste systems and freed the Miao slaves, to preserve their alliance, the communist successfully bring all Yi tribes to embrace each other and brought peace. A famous painting in China was inspired by this history. The Miao people are also known for helping the communist in forest naviagtion and fight against the Nationalist. Historically the Miao people are strong and led countless rebellions against the Imperial government. The Wa people are well known for head hunting, they decapitate their enemy heads and display them on shelfs or for ritual purposes. The communist government banned this practice because the Wa is known for their aggressiveness, raiding nearby tribes. The government successfully convinced the Wa to use and alternative for rituals, which is Ox head. The Uyghurs in Xinjiang are actually not natives, they are Turkic. They used to be Mongolian slaves until they escaped and settled in Xinjiang. Xinjiang region is ruled by many different empires, mostly Han and Mongol empires, only at one time where Xinjiang is ruled by a Turkic person, which is a Turkic Mongol warrior. Xinjiang has no natives because it is a desert which is uninhabitable, the Uyghurs travelled around Xinjiang constantly along the silk road, trading with the Han and other ethnicities that crossed the silkroad. In 2016, islamic extremists emerged in Xinjiang, terrorizing the locals which eld to many Uyghurs, Han, and other ethnic minorities death. The government placed strict surveillance and something like a lockdown on Xinjiang. The government successfully neutralised the terrorists in 2020 which brought peace and safety to the locals. Unlike the US, they dripped bombs into populated areas just to kill one person, which the world turned a blind eye on them. Fun fact: Middle eastern muslim countries supported and praised China's actions for controlling the terrorists and protection on the Uyghurs, that's why when you go to Muslim countries, they have nothing to say about Uyghurs in Xinjiang, even in Malaysia the Muslims know the truth since sone of them literally go to Xinjiang to celebrate Eid Mubarak. Nationalist government lost because they are corrupted, which is why the civilians are mad and supported the communist, even ethnic groups help communist win.

The McMahon Line was first drafted in 1913, and the treaty to ratify them (Simla Accords) was never signed by the Republic Of China(ROC) who had just overthrown the Qing dynasty. There was no such thing as the McMahon Line in 1890, and China isn't disputing where the Line was drawn, she's disputing the validity of the Line in its entirety. The primary Indian claim is that the ROC did sign the Simla Accords because a British official called Olaf Caroe fabricated a narrative in 1938 where the ROC signed the Simla Accords (they didn't) and ceded parts of Tibet to the Raj. In 1963 a British diplomat compared a pre-1938 treaties compendium with the post-Caroe compendium and found that Caroe had changed the note on the ROC's not signing the Simla Accords into one where the ROC signed it and considers the Indo-Tibetan border finalised. Nehru picked up a copy of Caroe's fabricated compendium so he got the impression that his country was legally entitled to more than she actually was. Compounding this was the US' decision to add fuel to the flames by declaring the McMahon Line as the legitimate boundary in an attempt to contain the spread of communism, despite reservations from the US State Department and protests from the fiercely non-communist Chiang Kai-Shek, leader of the ROC. However, we all know Nehru irreversibly altered his country's relations with China in 1962, so by 1963, when the fabrication was discovered, it was already too late to stem the tide of Indian nationalism based on the false compendium entry. And that leaves us with the situation today, in the aftermath of a British attempt to de jure carve out a piece of Chinese territory which failed but had some success de facto, then a British fabrication of her failed attempt to carve out Chinese territory, then an Indian acceptance of the British fabrication alongside American endorsement, and a Chinese refusal to accept the fabrication as anything remotely legal. Some Indians recognise that they don't actually have a legal claim to South Tibet, so they've begun using a different claim in that the people living in South Tibet want to be part of India more than China; in essence, a claim based on the principle of self-determination. This is India's secondary claim. However, as history has shown time and time again (Catalonia, Confederate States, Taiwan, Corsica, Chechnya, Tibet, Naxalites), without the permission of the larger body, a smaller section of the population will not be allowed to separate from its original country regardless of what they want. A much more detailed account of the McMahon Line and its history is available here, written by Peter Lee who, contrary to impressions given by his surname, is not at all Chinese.
