Rode it 10x yesterday and it feels almost identical to last year without the potholes. The turn around is still bumpy especially on the wheel seats but everything else is smooth as before. I loved it!

Somehow got 20 rides yesterday because the park was incredibly dead. Ride feels smooth as glass in those camel back valleys but I never noticed those being all that rough in the first place. Turn around is still rough (ESPECIALLY WHEN RIDING ON A WHEEL SEAT). Right after the turn around as it's going over those floater hills, a few potholes are still there and it almost feels like the train is tugging you in pulses. On the bright side, airtime is still there, twister section is actually smooth now, and THE AIRTIME ON THOSE CAMEL BACKS IS RIDICULOUS! Still a 9/10 ride for me!

I rode it in both the front and the back, and the difference was crazy. I got off the back row and thought it was awfully rough, but later in the day we rode in the front and it was one of the best experience I’ve ever had on a coaster

I saw you guys but didn't say hi since you guys had the first rides before the passholders. It was my first time riding it and I rode it 10 times. I loved the second row from the can and the front row. It was awesome. Also first time riding nitro and el toro is way better than nitro.

I use to give El Toro a hard time because I am not a fan of rough, but it felt much better than I remember. The second to the last seat is my favorite.

If they replace any track, it will always be prefab. I don't think they can use traditional techniques. I'm also not pleased they didn't replace any track in the floater area. While the turnaround was rougher, the floater section was rough and can definitely hurt if you have back problems.
@Huntbeck33 Жыл бұрын
Personally had no problems at all, but everyone is different. Honestly not ideal to go on any wooden coaster if u have back issues

@@Huntbeck33 dont have any back issues, but i see that most the people who dont like el toro always have back pains and the turnaround and floater hills hurt their back.

Any opinion on what row/seat would be best for a 7 and 8 yo (48”/52” and going with us obviously) desperate to go on but are still very nervous!
@Huntbeck33 Жыл бұрын
For someone’s first time I’d do car 3 or 4 and a none wheel seat witch is the middle row per car like Collin explains in the video
@ColiwoodStudios Жыл бұрын
I agree with hunter, the rows you would want would be 2, 5, 8, 11, 14, or 17 (all non wheeled seats). For first timers that are nervous, I’d go for rows 8 & 11. 17 is extremely smooth and intense, as is 2.

I'm still very concerned that they didn't retrack the entire ride like the other prefabs its the Marque coaster at the park with kingda ka I hope they can continue to add brand new prefab track when the off-season comes around. The whole point of the prefab track is so it can be reliable and more comfortable than standard wooden coasters so six flags should definitely continue getting new track from intamin and not reusing old track with new bolts the other prefabricated wooden coasters got new track from intamin and haven't had any incidents unlike el toro.
@Peter_9_9_9 Жыл бұрын
exactly that's what I'm saying I got to ride it was good but it was still rough of course however this coaster still needs a full retrack. I hope the park does invest the necessary money into a full retrack along with their park beautification which both will pay off in a long run I'm not really going to get into Six Flags Great Adventure reimaging project since the park looks like its stuck in the early 2000s and its too much to talk about and its off topic. I really don't want to see this ride get demolished because of Six Flags negligence because well as you stated it's one of their marque attractions and well without it you only have kingda ka and yea Ka may be good but I believe its days are numbered. RMC topper track or GCI titan track may "ruin" this ride but it's really the only option at this point seeing the severity of Six Flags penny pintching.

The ride is running great! They did great work to it, it’s running the smoothest in a long time not quite 2006 smooth but close to it. The turnaround is by far the roughest part of the ride imo. Overall it’s one of the smoothest if not the smoothest wooden coaster in the world. Such an amazing ride, I’ve ridden quite a few coasters in my life and this is still my favorite!

@@joshfreund6008 I can’t really answer your question because I’ve never ridden ghostrider before but considering it recently had a Complete re-track I’m gonna guess that’s smoother because el toro only had re-tracks in certain spots
