Could also be some side affect from the prototype able to pretty much take over the minds of other toys or control them by force to some degree which causes the lack of pain or reaction but at the same time, the current chapter also does dive into this specific thing exactly in stating some experiments have ran into lack of cognitive function, awareness, unable to feel pain, emotions and so on or just arnt sane and only show aggression and violence 24 7 like a rabid animal instinct. There's numerous ways it could go but for now, it's something we just have to guess.

I still think that Huggy fixed himself. For one, he literally used freaking TAPE to fix himself, that is literally a rush job, not something a legit engineer would do to repair something. Lastly, we've seen that the prototype doesnt tolerate failure. If he found Huggy dead or damaged he would have just finish him off and scrap him for his parts, just like he did with Mommy and Cat.

The cardborad cutouts with the buttons actually tell us EVERYTHING. There was a Mommy Long Legs cardborad cutout and the button works. She starts talking. Then we all know that it was confirmed Mommy Long Legs died in chapter 2. But when we go to chapter 4, another mommy long legs cardboard cutout was there and it no long works. But sometime later in chapter 4 we all thought that huggy died, but then we found another Huggy Wuhhy cardborad cutout and the button works. In other words, if the cardborad cutout mascots work and talk, then that means their still alive. Their existence and life is somehow connected to the cutouts

I disagree that huggy actually died but I do agree that it was likely very obvious that the prototype decided to save him, either because he still saw a use in huggy wuggy or because he's the most obedient bigger body that he has under full control. How I see it is that huggy was either very close to death or less injured than made out to be in chapter 1. What could've instead happened was that, as we know, the prototype has kept a close distance and an eye on us the whole time since we entered the factory and stayed in the shadows unless he was grabbing a bigger body experiment, that we either made useless or just doing the free job for him. My speculation is that the prototype could've caught huggy on the way down, breaking his fall before hitting something that would've indeed killed him and used the vents to drag him away from us to keep him alive. We know very well that the prototype, although massive, is able to fit in smaller vents and shafts if he so chooses to. If this is possibly by re using mommy long legs functions and as parts on himself to an extent and retract his own size at will, is unclear but plausible. As for poppy playtime ending within the next chapter, I personally don't think that it will. The fact that they've still not got a full design for the prototype and the flaw of him being larger than doors that U literally go through seconds before he shows up within the chapter, tells me that they are likely going to make at least a max of 2 more chapters before the boss fight. It could be more if they just want to expand the story of the game and back stories and revisit old areas to help us understand more of our own characters motives before the boss fight but we just have to wait and see.

I think prototype revived huggy for 3 reasons. One reason is there is roses close by. I'm pretty sure the red smoke can only be created by CatNap, so that red smoke might not mean anything. If we were hallucinating, it could be due to how strange the VHS tape is. Hallucinating it as Kissy? Most likely not, since only we fell while Kissy is still in that ventilation room. We don't even know where we are or how far we fell. Do you really think she would jump down? She wouldn't-she could die or risk her life. I don't even think the Prototype knows we're down there. Also, if all of this isn't real, why would our mind bother putting so much detail into Huggy being damaged? Last time we hallucinated, Huggy wasn’t damaged-he was nightmarified instead. For example, on top of Huggy's head, you can see damage in the same spot where he hit his head when he fell onto the pipes.

If i had to guess Prototype fixed him or something, seems like he has Feather Falling III i mean Like im SURE he has Very Strong Bones except for his left arms wich is gone, Even Tho He Hits SO MANY PIPES
