Wow! This was a heartfelt video from Charnie. It was positive and honest and she showed her vulnerability. I was really moved by it. Thank you Charnie for tackling a difficult subject so gracefully. - Andrea

We are Hispanic and purchased a home in the shores area and we had people stop in front of our home to welcome us. They complimented improvements we made to our home. We also wrote a letter of introduction and delivered them in person to our neighbors. We live a very peaceful life. Thankful

You answered that perfectly and I am sure you understand why the American Black person would be asking that question - the underbelly of hate and seeing God's creation as a political issue is where it all falls. It's pure ignorance to mistreat a group for the negative traits of the few, but those ideologies are between God and the ignorant person.We ALL eventually will either die or experience reward or judgement for how we view and treat others. But the way you said everything was beautiful. Ocala is a beautiful area of Florida, 1 of many and it should be enjoyed by everyone.

My husband and I are both retired. We thought about Lakeland, but find the home prices are very good in Ocala, especially the over 50 communities. We plan to be back down in November and we will look you up. We may consider a short term rental to see if we should call Ocala our winter home. Thanks so much for the information. You answered the question before I had a chance to ask. We are a mixed couple and want to retire in peace.

First off Great Sunglasses.!! So my question is Why people think country means Racist?? My Friend comes to the Woods to see me. She is mixed Father from Haiti and Mom Black American . A couple years ago She And her Jamaican Husband moved from. Fort Lauderdale to Georgia. They broke down and we drove everywhere to find the truck parts. He was pleasantly surprised how nice everyone is here. I am outside of Ocala. Now, I have a Very hard time understanding his accent. Lol My friend laughs at me all the time. says " you still can't figure out he saying.?" I think most experiences Can be preconceived notions. So live your best life.

I'm from Jersey, but lived in Ocala, FL for a few years, and then moved back to Jersey. Be prepared for a lot of good ole boys and confederate flags everywhere. Also heavy Trump country there. There is a good amount of ingrained racism in the area. It won't be right in your face, but it is definitely there.

This is rural living I’m suspecting. Them homes need septic tanks & wells, no city water & sewer services, right?
@GreatExpectationsRealty Жыл бұрын
City of Ocala is primarily city water and sewer. Depending on what portion of the county and how far out you are you will be on well and septic or at least one of these. But again, it just depends on where you are.
@GreatExpectationsRealty Жыл бұрын
We have many areas with public water… like Marion oaks and silver spring , belleview too. If you prefer public water we will sure to present you a house with that service. We are not totally rural … it is a balance between urban and rural 😊
