Finally some Xayah love. Every tier list I see her in C and it hurts. I've been using kraken, and had much success, but if essence truly will treat me better, I'll give it a go. If I come across this again later I'll tell you how I feel about it.

@@marckniphfer2416 Make sure you are adapting your playstyle and actually using the FS every time it's off cooldown (sync it with Q CD in lane). Also make sure you are not playing autoattack style like PTA... and also what's your elo? I wouldn't recommend it in some lower elo games because you will lack the spacing, lose the FS, etc. Remember if you get hit you lose FS and don't get gold. If you aren't getting 200-300gold on FS by minute 10 you should not use this setup, use that as measure

@@CoachSagi yeh, I'm def low Elo. I just never felt strong. Granted there were a few champs that would just burst me down way too quickly. I know it's not what I'm used to, but I was doing very well with the kraken navori combo. Once I had those, I was great. I kinda got zoned in lane, Braum and Samira. The first time Samira went all in, it was basically instant death. My support also was on the lower end of the low Elo side hahaha

To be honest, I was very skeptical. But damn was I wrong. I always considered Kraken + Navori to be essential. But you know what ? Fck those items. Man farming with the AD of ER + IE is sooo much satisfying, and having autos that actually hurt up front... Having the crit early on and really feeling those 50%, 75% crit spikes. mamamamama, I love this !

I began playing onetricking Xayah in order to learn the game, and I always thought that if she needed more AA range, she would be exceptionally good at catching people with that. The only solution I could find was to fleet off a minion and then get in range for a w, but this felt terrible in the current season (this was my initial thought process), so I went back to draven twitch, which is how I obtained diamond. However, I'm glad you figured out a way to make her viable once more, thank you!

To be honest with you man Xayahs feathers encourage being close to enemies anyway. The closer you are to an enemy, the more feathers they get hit by even if your feathers are scattered to the four corners of the world. Lane bully xayah will never be strong because by design shes supposed to be an all in champ with an extra dimension, her feathers, to complicate the fight and turn a close range trade into 4d chess using movement and sneaky damage. Play some classic popular TOP laners and I garuntee itl transform your movement and your all in power on xayah

Been saying this at the start, it felt like people kept building kraken on xayah, because they didn’t know it doesn’t have Crit anymore. With the build being so much waveclear, I think I’ll play it on mid.

I've tried it and it felt super nice, the versatility in runes you can cook up to adapt to the match up like going for after life and ledgend haste in harder match up like playing into cait lux and still having a good scaling and a better build path than them was good. And if you haven't tried i recommend you to try conqueror set up in good classic xayah spots. For exemple into nautilus Kai'sa + other close range champion because the passif proc from hitting a feather grants you 2 stacks, so most of the time a fight break out i would have already around 6 stacks so it was so good for extend tardes in lane and i always had free 10 to 12 conq stacks when i pulled the feather leading into more damage than PTA. In thos spots i was going navori 2nd because i had free time to AA so the conq was stacking super fast and on many occasion my hp left at the end of fight was less than what the conq healed in the fight.

Maxing E for E cd. The early lack of AtkSpd hurts. Crit + AtkSpd mid game is important. Early, AD is 2x important. HOB. I go IE rush. The components are nice paired with Beserkers early. Pickaxe/Cloak/BF Sword You'll get AD + Crit + move speed + AtkSpd + auto's crits do more dmg. (From the first item + boots) If you can't afford the items for IE first, then pivot into Collector build, as its more forgiving with Serrated Dirk/Pickaxe/Cloak Next item must have AtkSpd + crit. It should preferably have MOVESPEED to reposition for E finishers. And AD is always on the table. Yun Tal is always a best purchase late game if you already have high AD. It can be switched out if you didn't prioritize AD as much IE > Beserkers > Phantom/Navori > Bloodthirster > ??? > Yun Tal Collector > Beserkers > IE > Phantom/Navori > Bloodthirster > Yun Tal

Since I play ARAM only, I never thought about rushing AD and crit - feathers are crucial when there are nothing except teamfights and pushing, so it always was kraken/Statikk into Navori into IE. But I'll try it anyway (with PTA, of course)... If someone will invite me to play that game again.

I'd have to assume that majority of people who are playing don't remember old essence reaver, being that it's been 4 seasons since it had the mana on hit again. So many champs benefit from that 1 passive working that way, instead of just as a spellblade. I remember Sivir being super good with it for Q+W spam, but no ones building it on her either, cause everyone is too caught up on how good crit items are rn.

why not just buy collector first and take mana regen rune. even if it's nerfed, lethality seems much better for this playstyle. I think other problem with this champ is ppl don't know how to play her, a lot of positioning and button spam mistakes. but not only most don't know how to play this champ, ppl don't know how to play WITH her too. judging champ on wr is sad.

i was doing that until collector nerf, feels way worse now. I was 12w 0 defeat on master+ lobbies with collector rush but then i did worse after nerf, and better with ER

Im sorry man this is nothing like Korean Xayah. Aery Xayah wasnt played because she needed range it was a poke build because she had a bad all in compared to those meta picks, and a REALLY free easy way around that was Eclipse Aery. And in that build didnt they still take precision secondary for presence of mind? or atleast manaflow? come on now. Just a tear isnt enough to mana sustain if your trying to play POKE xayah espicially when we dont have the sheer uptime we did on Eclipse and Aeri. First strike just isnt it, you wont have the damage or the mana to chunk people down AND clear waves so that theyre reluctant to base and stick around playing on our terms. It just wont lane bully like Korean xayah did

I personally love the new essence reaver. And a lot of people are sleeping on it.. combined with new Navori flicker blades giving attack speed to synergize with ess and Navori both being on hit effects

Hmm, why not Navori Flickerblades 2nd item? I can see ER first item being good because of AH and mana sustain, but once you have an AD+Crit item, an AS+crit item is better than another AD+crit item, and navori's CD cycling passive is extremely strong w/ Xayah W especially, but even E and Q as well.

That'd be awful. The point of this build is to stack AD and crit early and play with the dmg from Q+AA+E or Q+E or even just E. If you waste 2600 on no AD then the whole build goes to shit. This is not autoattack kiting build

@@CoachSagi 2nd item usually isn't finished until after you're out of lane, and by that point you start needing to fulfill the role of a marksman (being a DPS source) for your team. Also, NF CD cycling means you have basically permanent access to W AS steroid as well.

Lethality HoB Varus Patch 14.10-11 Cait First strike onetap build lucian with collector rush Etc list goes on. Sadly navori second is greatly inferior. You simply can't autoattack as much anyway, unless you are playing below emerald in which case just go PTA and autoattack with kraken. In one rotation with my build you'll do more damage and from safer distance and with more gold than autoattacking perma with navori. It's not about going to practice tool and comparing apples to apples, the playstyle is different and suited for the realities of this meta

@@CoachSagi All of them don't require much AS and have powerful AD based scaling in their kit. Xayah does not, she wants to strike a more balanced distribution of AD and AS (ofc still getting crit because most of her damage is from autos and her E also is amped by crit chance). NF is also to help cycle your CDs which allows you to use Q+W+E more often.

@@Frightning well no, she doesnt want a balance, ad and crit heavily outperform attackspeed on her especially in higher elos where most of your fight interaction will be 1-2 autos at most and q-e or q-r-e feathers pull is the most important part. Navori second is objectively inferior than this in almost any case

This is exactly my playstyle with Xayah, I normally buy a serrated dirk early to help with those long range in lane trades, and then turn it into a colector, a serylda's, or a serpent fang after navori
